We needed somebody to help my aunt shower and get dressed in the morning, so we used Caring People. The person we dealt with at the agency, Danielle, was very helpful. They definitely heard what we needed and were willing to accommodate us because we only needed an hour to get our aunt started in the morning. They were very accommodating. We were not pleased with one of the caregivers, so they switched her out. Otherwise, it went very well. Unfortunately, we were only able to use them for about two to three weeks before our aunt had an accident and is not at home.

Caring People was a referral from a rehab center. It started out with just my mother for seven hours a day because they have long term care insurance. Then my dad had a fall a month ago and now he's also receiving services. My mother and father are both taken care of by one person for seven hours a day. We have two lovely aides – Robin and Debra. Robin is here on weekends and every other Sunday. She is fantastic. We have Debbie during the week, Monday to Thursday and every other Sunday. Then there's an insurance specialist in Florida that does things she doesn’t need to do. For example if I had an issue, she would take care of it right away. She would email everybody under the sun. And you know who else is the best? Listra. She is in the office and I wouldn't have gotten through it without her. It’s just unbelievable. They come in cheery, “Good morning my people!"" or “Good morning sunshine! “Let's go, let's get dressed”, “No, No, No, you can’t do that”, C'mon get to the bathroom”. When my dad wants to stay in his pajamas, she'll say "That's not the way a gentleman lives, you got to get up, you got to get dressed". They make sure they shower and bathe. I can’t tell you how on point it is, it's wonderful. My father is on a special diet, and I make special soup for him. All they have to do is put the soup out or put out the cold cuts and make a sandwich or the medications out with the time on it and when you have to take it.
