For my immediate need, I went with Comfort Keepers. They’re $21 an hour, but they’re good. If that’s the going rate, then I’m going to stick with them. If I could find comparable quality for something less, I would consider it. The agency came to the house to understand my needs and gave me some good advice. Everything seemed to be working smoothly. The owner, Pat, is very nice. The billing was smooth; it was expensive but good. I’m satisfied with their service.

I interviewed several companies for home care for my mother who has dementia. I was very impressed with Joyce at Comfort Keepers. She not only had answers to all of my questions and concerns,but she gave me several helpful tips, and was very tactful and honest in asking me the difficult questions I didn't even know needed to be asked. I had to leave before I had a chance to meet the caregivers, but my sister met them and was very pleased. Comfort Keepers was our first choice, with Home Instead as a close second. I really appreciate the fact that Caring.com was there for me when I didn't even know where to start.

Comfort Keepers was exceptionally helpful to me. My mother had a 1-bedroom place with a hard couch. The lady came in on the second day, and she was an older lady. She just exuded that idea of confidence that you'd like to leave your loved one in this person's care. She was fine, and Mom loved it. She was just sweet as sweet. This lady said she should be doing something when my mom was sleeping, so she did laundry. She just doesn't leave me things to do. No one ever offered to do anything. It's just here in the Comfort Keepers. They just sat and watched TV or read a book all night, and that was the end of it. The lady was a God-send. When I tried to give her money, she wouldn't take it. That was amazing to me, but what's most amazing was their willingness to try to get me that same person to show that understanding for our needs. My experience out there was just amazing.

I'm getting very good care from Comfort Keepers. I am very happy with the service. I have no complaints at all. The caregiver is here promptly every morning and I'm friends with her.
