Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The services have been very helpful. I'm sick and broke my arm, and so they have been able to help me with my needs.

If I didn't have them I would need someone else. They have helped me with my laundry, they do the dishes, and they shop for me occasionally, which is great.
I like the fact that they are very accurate with their bookkeeping and the gal they send does a reasonable job.

We were very fortunate to have picked Right at Home to help me care for my husband who had brain cancer. Everyone from the owner to the caregivers were very responsive and caring towards my husband and me 24/7. I could not be more pleased and don't know how I would have made it without them. It was important to me and my husband that he be able to stay at home in this difficult time. Thanks to all the staff at Right at Home!!

The caregiver was really good with him, and in the months that she was his caregiver, she got to know him and his quirks.
I would like the constancy of the caregivers to have been better. It took them too long to find a caregiver, and they were not proactive with finding a new caregiver when we needed one.

I don't have to be up here 8 to 10 hours a day. I can stay at my home, do my housework, and get my husband fed.

When my dad was discharged from the hospital we needed to arrange 7x24 in-home care for him. Shawn assembled a team quickly and the first care giver was here before my dad got home from the hospital. He received great care until his passing. Right at Home provided a stable team of aids so that my dad knew the people who were helping him.

They help me with my daily living activities that I can't do myself. They help with transportation, doing certain errands, and with house work that I physically can't do. I don't know what I would do without them, and I really rely on them.
They are very easy to communicate with if there are any issues. They do reach out to you from time to time, and I have had some luck with their workers.

They take me on errands and they do just about everything I want. They wash my clothes, take me to doctors' appointments, and take my dog out.
The caregiver is very good. The agency does what I want, and sometimes they do more than I want.

Shawn (owner) has been very helpful in difficult situations with my mother and father, and came to our rescue when my father was hospitalized. Given that we have had 9am - 6pm care for my parents, now 9 am - 9 pm care for my mother, we have had several (3 main) RAHLV caregivers, and have generally been satisfied. Importantly, the caregivers have been caring and attentive to my mother's needs, made sure she ate nutritious food, forced her to take walks, and have ensured her safety and comfort. Also, Shawn has made sure that we are covered, that caregivers arrive on-time and are available as needed, and after some initial hiccups with getting insurance paperwork done, all is running very smoothly. I can particularly commend Monica, who even helped my mother pick turbans when her hair fell out after chemotherapy. After dealing with several agencies, I recommend RAHLV above the others (some of whom barely returned phone calls).

I couldn't have done it. The facility didn't do a good job, but the agency did what i needed them to do. I couldn't have done it. It makes me very emotional to look back on the past three years and the responsibility I took on for my mom. Without them there to pick up the slack, I would have cracked. They were a Godsend. A doctor recommended the service. I was afraid to do it on my own. This kept her out of a nursing home and memory care. It was fabulous for her and my pocketbook. We need more agencies and caregivers like this. It was the best money we have ever spent.
They were always very dependable. They always had an excellent caregiver. They frequently checked in to make sure things were going well. They alerted me to holidays or schedule changes. My mother really loved the people who came. They had good interviewing skills in picking people to work with my mom.

They do things around the house. They look at everything that is happening. They are a good set of extra eyes. They go to the grocery store as well and do laundry.
The people who work in the company are really caring and trustworthy. I have had a really good experience.

I liked how they had great caregivers. I liked the personalities of the people that were sent to help out. They were very gracious. I had some privacy and time to get things done on my own while the caregivers were in the house helping out my loved one. That made things easier.

This review is about the service that Right At Home provided for my mother. We live on the East Coast and Mom lived alone in Las Vegas. Due to medical complications, we found ourselves in need of a sitter/buddy service to be with Mom while she spent many months in various hospitals/assisted living facilities. Someone to act as her companion, nurse caller, hand holder, tear-wiper, hair brusher, etc. What we received from Steve, Louise and the team at RAH was all of that and SO MUCH MORE. The sitters themselves are amazing people, but couple that with the incredible care and compassion from the inside team and you have an amazing company that I will recommend for as long as I am able to. I'm not sure if there is a higher compliment than to say that RAH saved my mother's life, but that is exactly what they did. We are eternally grateful to these amazing people who are doing incredibly important work.

Everyone I have had from Right at Home has been as good as the previous caregiver. They are all well-trained and their goal seems to be to take care of whatever I need or want. Right at Home has been here when my daughter needs to go into the office. The caregiver will come when I get out of bed and they take care of my breakfast, my bed, and the laundry. It's almost as if I can't give them enough to do because they are always anxious to do more. I get to interact with people while my daughter is working. The caregiver and I can watch shows and get a big kick out of it together.

Right at Home will hire pretty good people. I liked the people that Right at Home sent, but they were always leaving. I always lost the caregivers I got attached to because they would go and work for a new company. The help from Right at Home helped me keep my sanity. I’m a Florida attorney with a client responsible for a family member near Las Vegas in a very difficult family situation. After disappointment with other agencies, I was fortunate to locate Steve and his team at Right At Home who helped the family for about 5 years. Right At Home made it possible for a dear lady to live out her last days at home instead of in a nursing home. Right at Home is a first class company and the best home health organization I have ever used. It starts with the owners who provided a personal touch and took sincere interest in my Mother's care and were always available to answer questions and help whenever needed. The caregivers themselves were kind, patient and compassionate and this significantly helped my Mother. Right At Home provided excellent care for our mother from the summer of 2011 until late April 2013, when she passed on at the age of 93, and we recommend it to others who are seeking care for loved ones in their own homes. My sister and I live in Arizona and Georgia, respectively, and thanks to Right At Home, our mother was able to remain in her Las Vegas home of more than 30 years, to feel at home and remain in daily contact with neighbors, and receive care and support on a daily basis that would have been extremely difficult for us to provide. The Right At Home caregivers and the central office staff were exceptionally helpful and responsive to mother’s changing needs. They provided invaluable companionship, humor, housekeeping assistance, ensured that our mother had regular, nutritious meals, saw to it that she got to and from her numerous medical appointments, and took her on welcome outings. All along, Right At Home kept us regularly informed about our mother's activities and health, and regularly carried out and reported on actions that we had identified with them during the development of a customized care plan. Throughout the period of care, at our request and on their own, Right At Home office staff provided extremely helpful information on many topics having to do with our mother's health and wellbeing, and possible options to explore to ensure that her needs were met. Right At Home was invaluable to us!

Right-At-Home Services is a superb agency. Steve G. is the Operations Director. He is a nice gentleman, who I know cares about my father and his well-being. He matched my father with a caregiver who had the same temperament. He also asked for topics that my father was interested in chatting about, so the caregiver could begin conversations with my rather shy father. They hit it off the first day! Yes, I would recommend this agency- they have heart and integrity.

Thank you so much to Cynthia for the care she has provided to my mother. Cynthia's help with sanitizing the bathroom, washing the linens, and providing continuous nutrition (i.e. breakfast, snacks, lunch, and beverages) helped my mother recover much faster this time from her latest stay in the hospital.
I feel comfortable knowing she is there with my mother.
I also appreciate the quick response from Steve and Louise when I call and there willingness to work with me on a schedule for my mother's care.
