The caregiver from Home Care Assistance works really well with my father-in-law ad keeps him calm during the day. She has the longest stretch, which is 6:30 to 2:00. I haven't had any problems with her at all. They kept sending someone different and that made him feel very uncomfortable. They have a lot of foreigners working for them, so they have a very heavy accent, which is difficult for a senior when they're hard of hearing. The pricing is a little higher than what I was expecting.

The caregivers will make meals for me and clean the floor for me if I need it. I just have much more that the morning people can do than the afternoon people. They will drive for me and stay with me when I take a bath. If I know someone who needs health care, then I would say they should get it. The people are all very nice, but I don't have much for the afternoon people to do when they are here. My son just feels like I need the help, but I think I can do things on my own.

They help me a lot with walking, dressing, and things like that. They have very nice girls who work for them.

The second caregiver was pretty good, still young, but had more experience providing care. My husband didn't click with her as they didn't have much in common. The current caregiver is a little older, and she has worked well so far. Home Care Assistance hasn't yet provided a caregiver that is a good match for my husband.
