Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I can leave my loved one and not worry about them as they help with his personal hygiene, light housekeeping, doing his exercises, making sure he gets his meds, and will give him food too, which relieves me of a lot of pressure during my day.
Everything they said that they would do, they are doing well for us and we haven't had any issues so I'd recommend them.

I highly recommend this agency. It was responsive and demonstrated flexibility in meeting meeting my husbands needs. The service providers were caring and reliable, even through a covid scare and a snow storm.

I wasn't there when the caregivers were giving care, but it was mostly just for the caregivers to sit by my mom's bed overnight.
They could have different pricing points for a companion versus a CNA. There is nothing else I think they could improve on. It was a really easy process.

They were incredibly diligent, patient, thoughtful, comforting, and caring in all aspects of her care, and they helped make a very emotional time so much easier for everyone.

My wife has Alzheimer's and they do a great job of taking care of her. They get her to do the things she needs to that I never could get her to.

They had a great intake process and have good conversation with people before they come into our home.

When we crucially needed help, Right At Home was there within two hours. I had never asked for this kind of help for my mom before, because I couldn't figure out where to begin. But when the need is pressing, I think you research faster.
We Googled "West Orange at home care" and up their website popped among others. I made 5 calls. Maeghan and Melodie called me back right away. Their kind voices matched their kind faces pictured on their website, along with a moving personal story about family and excellent credentials.
I took the leap of faith, but I felt confident they were the ones. The fact that Melodie and Maeghan are a mother-daughter team resonated with me.
Ultimately, my mom had 24 hour care with Right at Home for 7 months. They always went above and beyond. They offered so many acts of kindness during the height of the pandemic, my heart melted. Their nurse at the time even helped get my mom's TV working again. The aides (with whom I am still in touch because they are family now) reorganized and tidied the house, cooked my mom's meals, received food deliveries, and accompanied my mom to doctor visits. They really did A LOT. And it was all so very meaningful to me and to my mom. We will be forever grateful to everyone at Right at Home. They made a huge positive difference.

These people become part of our family. They go the mile and one of the best things is when you have someone in your home you're comfortable with you want to make them a part of your family. When I get a new aide I treat them to dinner. I treat people like they're in my family. I want them to feel comfortable.
I would tell a friend that most of the clinicians are very nurturing. I didn't have as much trouble with language barriers since I have experience with bilingual companies. I think they do a good job of supplying caregivers that are able to provide the care you need even if they can't speak English.

They take me to doctor's appointments and the nurse helps me with my walker.
I had very bad experiences this week with the drivers. With COVID, there are specific things to do to wait for an appointment. The driver told me to get out of the car and made me sit on the curb while he left. I reported him to the manager and they told me he wasn't the usual car service. Other than that, they've been just fine. They're lovely people other than this specific experience.

She had a very bad accident three years ago, so her mobility isn't as good as it used to be. These caregivers know what they are doing. My mom wants to tip them. My mom is very thankful because she is getting nice people.
They are in my area of the world here, so they stop in and check on their aides.

It's very hard to find a match for people. I'm particularly different from other people, but they are trying and trying, and it's working out so that I'm able to manage.
I have used them for many many years. I've never used another agency.

Having someone there to make sure my mom is safe is worth it.
I am having an issue with the tardiness of the nursing assistant. There is a short reserve of who else they could offer. I am disappointed in pay for a two hour window and they are late.

The caregivers could be a little more proactive about doing things to help, whether it's cooking or housekeeping.
The age of the caregiver that we had come through was frustrating. It was frustrating to get them to do more than the bare minimum.
