Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

We have been through a lot of caregivers, so it's not consistent, but having them her is a lot of help. They all seem to have different amounts of training.
They could lower the price and pay the staff more. That is it.

I only have the caregiver here 2 days a week but it is important for me. I can't do anything more than what I am doing so she provides necessary services for my husband and I.
They check up on their people and they see if I have any problems. The caregivers they send are up to the job and they meet my needs.

If I was in an emergency, I had coverage and they were there to help me.
The live-ins were not the best. They were not prepared. All three did not know what to do with someone with dementia. That seemed the most important to me, especially with long-term care. The care that was day-to-day was a lot higher, and we were a lot more pleased with them.

They could just be here on time.
My mom and I are in different counties and I didn't hardly ever have an aide when I needed one. It was very hard because I was expecting a certain number of hours in the week, and I didn't have them. One aide's car was always breaking down, so she couldn't get there. They found somebody else and she wasn't nice to my mom at all. There was only one person that was wonderful.

The most helpful part of receiving the services was that they helped me keep my sanity. I could not have handled him alone. He couldn't do much and some things took two people.
Their help was experienced and my husband was difficult to handle with his various diagnoses.

We are very fortunate. I'm 89 years old. If I were alone, it would be hard for me to do the changing and washing the clothes. It makes it easier for my wife as well.
I don't deal with the agency that much. My daughter set everything up.

They are only here over night because he is not sleeping over night. They get him up at night, take him to the bathroom, take him unto the commode, and get him washed up in the morning.
I never had too much dealings with them, but I liked the girls that they sent.

I know my loved one is being taken care of because the caregiver will call me if there's an emergency.
I think having a caregiver in the home would be a better choice because my loved one is in a facility right now. I think the agency could do a lot more when it's me and them at home.

We're using Right at Home Atlantic County for my wife. We're very satisfied with the caregiver, I have no complaints. She has made up with my wife and they're getting along fairly well. We had difficulties with the things my wife needs to get done, and the caretaker Patricia is doing very well. Our communication with the agency is fine, and I've had no problems at this point. In terms of the schedule and cost, I'm satisfied with everything. The caregiver is right on time, she's very prompt and very attentive to my wife, which is very important to me. She has her daily schedule, so she knows what she has to do here. I don't have to tell he what to do because she already knows that exactly. They do light housekeeping if necessary, look after my wife, make lunch for her, and perform the duties they've committed to.

I only use them on the weekends, and the experience isn't really positive because they don't like to really do anything.
I have a walker and it is hard for me to get in a van or a larger car. I asked Right at Home to send someone that drives a car, which is easier. They do help me, but they keep giving me someone that has a higher truck or jeep or something similar to that.
