Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

My mother is in assisted living and requires an aide for daily personal care and assistance with transfers from her wheelchair. Without in-home care we would be unable to have my mother with us for weekend visits which give the opportunity for all the family to be together. These visits meant he world to all of us - especially my mother. The Right At Home of Ocean County staff have made the arrangements for round the clock support for us. Each and every caregiver was great. They were on-time, friendly, well prepared, proactive in care and so communicative and encouraging of our mom. We will never be able to say enough about the high quality of this organization and the gift of time that they have made possible for our family. I would recommend without hesitation.

My parents are in Ocean County, NJ while I am in NY and, understandably, as they have aged, have needed more care. I have come to depend on Right At Home. They have consistently provided excellent care to my parents as well as always very responsive. They are patient with our questions (even when asked by different people at different times) and very helpful, even pointing out times when there may be a more cost-effective approach. Having spoken to Stephanie, Pattie, and Judy, I am consistently impressed with the professionalism and respect they each show. The aides (both part-time and, now, live-in) have been so caring and patient - not always easy with those used to being able to take care of themselves and, now reliant on others. Having Right at Home as part of my parents' care provides me an immeasurable level of comfort while providing truly wonderful care to my parents.

Mom was in NJ and I was in NY. While we transitioned her to an assisted living facility in NY with me, Right at Home provided excellent care. In-home aids were reliable, kind, and patient with my mom, who often didn't remember their names or why they were there. Each time I had a question, the same manager, (Eileen) from Right at Home took my call. In today's world, when good customer service is hard to find, Right at Home provided it every day and at every turn. I could not be more thankful for the care and comfort they provided to my family and my mom.

My father has had a home health aide living with him since February. He has been wonderful. He helped my father with activities of daily living after partial hip replacement surgery following a fall. He is patient and very pleasant with my Dad, even when my Dad is being difficult. He is extremely respectful and finds ways to resolve issues. He goes above and beyond to ensure my Dad and is safe.
The agency has been very receptive answering our questions and supporting us during this difficult time. The staff has been very understanding and easy to deal with.
I would not hesitate to recommend Right At Home Jersey Shore.

Right at Home was one of the few agencies which was able to provide home health care to my aging mother during the pandemic. Communication with the staff was very efficient, with questions or schedule changes being addressed easily. Can't say enough about the level of care my mom received from her friendly and caring aide, who always arrived on time and with a smile. Would highly recommend Darlene and her staff to anyone looking for quality, dependable care for their loved one.

Right at Home has been extremely understanding and helpful as we made the decision to obtain full time in home care for my aging father. Rite at Home was with us every step in the way as we went from part time care to a full time caregiver. Right at Home worked with us to ensure all of our needs were being met. They were very accommodating when my father entered a rehab facility for a few weeks and made sure that someone was available when he was discharged. Recently, they deployed an amazing man (Windsor) who is caring for my father and we have seen my father make amazing strides all thanks so Windsor's drive and his methods of motivation. We're very happy to work with Rite at Home since they bring a level of understanding and expertise to the table which is vital during this important decision.

Right at Home has been providing my father with professional in home daily and then live in aid care. The account coordinators are so attentive and responsive to my father’s changing physical needs. The aids they have provided to help him are so experienced that my father is able to live at home. The aids have followed his daily schedule including exercising multiple times a day which has improved his physical state and demeanor. My father’s life has greatly improved because of the superior care of Right at Home.

Right At Home of Ocean County has been an excellent service to my 93 year old mother. Living home alone, she needed assistance with normal day-to-day care. The aides that visited my mom really seemed to care about her. They quickly got into her routine and were a blessing. Unfortunately, the time came when my mom needed more advanced care and moved into a nursing home. She still talks about how kind and helpful the Right at Home aides were to her.

I am happy to take this opportunity to share my satisfaction with the 9 years of care and support that Right At Home provided for my parents and myself, their daughter.
Through the years, my folks' needs changed and with each change, Right At Home accommodated their changing needs having first started with part-time care and escalated to 24/7 care for both parents. Covid constraints brought about specific challenges but their flexibility worked wonders. They always took into consideration the personalities and care plan for my folks and assured me that coverage would ALWAYS be provided and the "fit" would be taken into consideration.
I would definitely recommend Right At Home to anyone needing home health care either for themselves or for a loved one!

I tore my achilles tendon and suddenly I went from going everywhere and doing everything, to not being allowed to put any pressure on that leg. I needed help, not for everything, but for some very necessary things like mobility and showering, getting food and making the bed. Right At Home took care of everything I needed on a specially designed 1-hour per day basis which made it possible for me to function. Thank you all for your help.

So happy we found Right at Home when we needed caregiving help for my father with dementia. From day 1 the staff was professional & supportive, guiding us through this new step in our dementia care journey. They were in constant communication and we were never left without care. We were assigned our scheduler, Katie. She took the time to listen to our needs and worked with us to find the right fit for my dad. And we were blessed to have Windsor be that person. My dad could be a tough cookie but throughout it all he was gentle & patient and became a friend to my dad/our family.

I have nothing bad to say about Right at Home-Brick Township, NJ it's just that it didn't work out. They were in my friend's for like two weeks, and it was a matter of not clicking. The lady spoke english, but the accent is very hard to understand so it just wasn't working out. It had nothing to do with her, personally, it's just the fact that you couldn't understand her. And we wanted somebody who's like a companion, who you can converse with and so forth. They were helping my friend with bathing, using the bathroom, dressing, and they cooked for her. That lady was a live-in so there was no issue with scheduling.

I don’t know what we would have done during COVID without our Right-at-Home caregiver. My mother-in-law has dementia, and she’s able to stay in her home because her aide is responsible, reliable, and caring. Yes, it took some time to find the right aide, but Right-at-Home worked with us to do just that. I am currently setting up care for my parents with this agency.

I hired Right At Home for my mother over a year ago. The office staff has great communication and matched the prefect aide for my mother. Julie (aide) goes above and beyond for my mother. During COVID and still to this day she made sure my mother has plenty of supplies and food in the house. My father's companion care provider, Diana, is punctual and thoughtful. Both my parents look forward to her weekly visits. My parents started using Right at Home just a week before the pandemic and it has been great to have someone check in on them every week. My dad had fallen at home and had to be admitted to the hospital for a cracked rib. The day before being discharged from the hospital the rehab dept suggested getting outside help to care for day. I called Right At Home and they set up a schedule to start the next day.
I have the staff make sure that dad gets a daily shower, eats breakfast, takes his meds, and checks his blood pressure every day.
They also make sure he does his exercises, walks with his walker on a daily basis. They have also taken dad to get a hair cut. I am very pleased with all the staff and managers.

The agency took my mother’s case on at the very start of Covid-19, understanding that people need care during a pandemic, too. I live in CT and my mother lives in NJ, near Toms River, there was no way I could live with her or have her move in with me while she finished convalescing.
They are very clear on the service they’ll provide and the aid is punctual.
My only complaint is during the pandemic, the RN who must do a home visit each 90 days—because of state mandates—did the visit via phone conferencing rather than in person. That’s not reasonable considering the aids are expected to be there in person, and my mother is paying a much higher rate for a nurse. With that exception, the care is good, reliable and consistent.

Last spring, we needed help for my mom who was 95 years old. A friend was helping us out, but we decided to go with a legit company, so we found “Right at Home” to help us.
At first, we had someone come 2 to 3 days a week 3 to 4 hours a day but in June my mom ended up in the hospital with congestive heart failure and came home needing oxygen.
I called “Right at Home” to get her 24/7 care and my brother and I went on the hunt for an assistant living place and found one nearby.
Our 24/7 caretaker, Audrey, stayed with her until the day we needed to put mom into assisted living.
Long story short, once there, I hated this place and cancelled the move and brought my mom back to her house.
I called “Right at Home” to resume the 24/7 care and fortunately we were able to get Audrey back.
Audrey is a saint and a real find. She took really good care of mom, washed and dressed her, made her meals, checked her weight and blood daily, gave her medications, and catered to her every whim.
Audrey stayed with my mom until she passed this past November.
Audrey is like family to us and “Right at Home” was just terrific dealing with everything.
The Rizzo family is very grateful and would recommend their services to anyone who seeks it.

My 90 year old father was released from a month's long stay in an acute rehab and was in need of care 24/7. Unfortunately, he could not afford that much, but after calling around to many agencies, we decided on Right At Home and worked together , along with the VA, to get him the most care he could afford. Everyone I ever spoke to was kind, helpful and caring. I especially loved that they made all the schedules and we could join a portal to see who was coming and when at all times. Also, to check invoices and any notes that the aides might have left. All the aides were friendly and got along with my father just fine. My father needed more care, however, and with family issues, we had to , sadly, put him in a nursing home. I would highly recommend Right At Home for anyone looking to get the right care for a loved one. It is not an easy thing to do.

I am a daughter of a client. Our mother lives in Holiday City. She was coming out of rehab and we needed help set up quickly during the week. Right at Home was so lovely to work with and quick to act. As we waited to get our mother into and Assisted Living facility, Right at Home sent someone once a week who helped our mom around the house, did light cleaning and it was a weekly visit we all appreciated. Due to the declining health of both my parents over the past year, we have employed Right at Home for both hourly in home care and then 24x7 live in help. The employees who still come in hourly (Roe and Joanne) are wonderful, caring, competent and reliable. When the shoe dropped and my dad (who was the primary caregiver for my mom) went into the hospital, we suddenly had a tremendous increase in the care my mom needed and Annette at RAH worked quickly to fill the void. Then, when we needed full time, live-in care, she again responded quickly to make it happen. The live in aide they assigned (Bea) was a godsend - wonderful, compassionate and dedicated even though she barely new my parents. My sister and I are very grateful to RAH for helping us through a very difficult situation and we would highly recommend them for your home healthcare needs.

When we contacted Right At Home to set up services, they were able to make it happen quickly. The caregivers are great and the people I deal with in their office are very helpful. They communicate well and always try to accomodate the specific needs we have.

Right at Home was a God send for my mother. Her caregivers were kind, caring and attentive as she recuperated from hip replacement surgery. They helped her shower, get dressed and assisted with laundry until she was able to do these tasks on her own.

When my mother needed a home health aid, Right at Home came for the interview. Annette was wonderful. She listened to my mom’s needs and she knew right away who she was going assign to my mom. My Mom and I are so thankful for the caring and genuine kindness, of the Right at Home Ocean County personnel.
My 93 year old mom, lost her husband in 2017, and the caregivers provided her with companionship, meal preparation, light housework, running errands, and much more.
Since I live far away from my widowed parent, it was a blessing to me! The staff keeps excellent communication with me and my mother. They are courteous and dedicated individuals.
The staff is very flexible and agreeable to special requests and/or day/time alterations. They are extremely responsive to our needs.

I want to let you know how much my father and I appreciate F, the male Certified Home-Health-Aide, Right at Home provided. F is both professional and caring. He has given my 96 year-old father the best care. He has kept him exercising so that my dad is strong enough to use his walker with verbal directions – he is legally blind – with an encouraging and gentle hand on his back. F has established a rapport and a routine with my dad that he depends on. It is both reassuring to him and decreases his fear of falling. His Christian values are apparent in his honesty, sense of humor and patient appreciation of my dad’s jokes, old songs and occasional teasing. He keeps him well fed and keeps track of things, letting me know when they run out of everyday items or when he receives any deliveries. Best of all, he is very attuned to dad’s level of health and lets me know immediately when he is concerned.
Knowing F is at home with my dad relieves any concerns I might have had that he might hurt himself. He has enabled us to go out to medical appointments and even to treat dad to lunch occasionally.
Thank you for sending someone I can trust and rely on who has become a good caregiver for my father.

Often in life we deal with companies where you are meant to feel like you are just another client. With that in mind, when you come in contact with someone who goes that extra mile when you are in great need you never forget it. Dealing with Annette at Right at Home was one of those experiences. She could not have been more helpful and at all times treated me like my problems were her concern as well' A company is only as good as it's employees and Right at Home is lucky to have her. I have never met her but cannot thank her enough.

I cannot say enough for Right at Home Ocean County and our caregiver, Naomi. She is always on time and really personally cares for my 58-year old brother, Steve, who suffered from profuse brain damage after a cardiac incident. He stays with me 3 to 4 times a year, and it is so nice to have help as I am 70 years old. Naomi takes care of his personal morning care which really saves me!

I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend Right At Home's services to anyone. Actually, I would steer clear of them. The coordinators in the office are very nice, the nurse that came out to our home was very nice too. The aids they sent were HORRIBLE people, who don't understand patients with disabilities. I cringe when I think of how horrible my mother was treated by their aids. The director in the office called and yelled at my mother and I when we complained about the second aid, and told us flat out that "we cannot just replace another aid, just cause your mother doesn't like her". What the aids didn't know is that I had cameras in my mothers room - and I watched how disrespectful and mean they were to her when they put her to bed. I know my mother has a disability, and if that disability were more than the aid could handle then they should have let me know. But, I am livid that people like this exist and I would never recommend this company to ANYONE. Thank you.

I am less than thrilled with Right at Home. I like two of the girls very much. Unfortunately, one just had an operation, so she is out, and the other is on vacation. The company doesn't have any backup people. I don't know from day to day whether I'm going to have anybody or not. I'm not getting help every day. There have been times when I've been without any help at all. I know they're trying, but they cannot seem to come up with help, and that's difficult for me because I rely on them. So, that's my complaint. I think one reason they're having difficulty getting help is because their office is in another county. It's not close. This is not working as well as we had hoped it would. They need to get some backup help. It wasn't very encouraging to read in the paper that one of the girls we had seen maybe five times had been arrested for stealing things from somebody's house. That sort of turned me off a bit.

Beth has a positive mental attitude and is very empathetic. She provides good personal care and meets the patient's inclusion needs. Beth is very dependable, obeys company rules and is always willing to learn something new. The office staff are very responsive and pleasant, always notifying us of any change. They work hard to meet emergency needs and are very solicitous, calling at least every month. Beth mixes well over visitors, always friendly and appropriate. The nurse case manager is thorough.

I did a lot of research and even tried another agency. Right at Home has been a Godsend to me and my family. Every member of this staff is wonderful The office works with you, the family and they truly listen. Someone is always available to help or answer questions . I can't say enough good things. We had an urgent situation regarding a 24 hour caregiver for my mother with Dementia. She was recently widowed and we needed quick and reliable care. Annette at the Barnegat office was not only quick and helpful, but so caring and kind in her assistance. Annette was so responsive and helpful through the entire process. without her help we could not have had a live in so quickly. Annette was accessible and responsive on a long holiday weekend. I felt so taken care of and never left to wonder what was happening for if we were going to get the help we needed. My experience with Right at Home was amazing and I highly highly recommend anyone who finds themselves in a difficult situation who needs help!

We only retained a home aide from Right at Home a couple of days a week for a month, and then my father was able to make excellent progress and was able to make a good recovery. They contacted me to talk about the schedule, and they were able to meet my needs. They were very quick to find someone, and that really settled the issue. It was excellent. The billing was very quick with a fast turnaround. They would ask me how things were going on a regular basis and if I was happy and satisfied, which I was. My father was quite happy with the service provided, and management was excellent.

She provides assistance when it comes to my clients schedule and she has done a great job. I call with changes at least 3 times a month. Annette is kind, caring and most of all professional at all times.She is an asset to your company.

Annette and Melissa in office are very accomodating with any change in schedue or concern with an aide. Roseann, my mom's aide, we got the BEST! She is fabulous with Mom and goes above and beyond the call of duty - folding, wash, taking out garbage --Her work ethic. Owner- I had an issue. She called me back immediately resolved problem in the eve.

When I inquired about services for my mother all my questions where answered immediately by Melissa the office manager. i knew at that time I would be using Right at Home. Shortly after I made my decision to have home ate services for my mom Annette my personal staffing coordinator called me to welcome me to the Right At Home Family. I was very touched by this personal call. Everyone one at Right At Home is very caring and compassionate. I would recommend Right At Home to my friends and family. Melissa and Annette are great with helping me do the scheduling. They are very accomodating. Julie and Judy, our two regular aides are godsends. My mom has "adopted" them and they truly treat her respectfully and are very kind and caring. The fact that Right at Home provides aides who can drive mom to the doctors, shop, ect, is a huge plus. We are a big fan of your company.

Our experience with Health Care Professionals has been very gratifying. My mom had a terminal illness which necessitated that she be with family for care. Your aides were like friends to us. They cared for her, respected her need for independence and supported family need for quality care in our absence.

My father, John passed away earlier this week on march 26th. Until he was hospitalized, my father used the services of RAH. In particular, my family would like to thank one of his caregivers, Marie. She was very compassionate and a hard worker. Above all, Marie was a wonderful companion to my dad, who always looked forward to her visits. My family (and I'm sure my dad) want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Marie and RAH!
