We hired Assisting Hands Of Central NJ for my husband and they were wonderful. The people they sent were good, although we only had them for a couple of days before he went to rehab. The caregivers would come in and wash him, help him exercise, and fix his bed. They were pretty good. We even had one of them stay overnight. The agency was very good.

As my Dad’s health deteriorated, Assisting Hands has taken the worry away and I have gotten top notch care for my Father. Their Nurse Bev is the best and she keeps the caregivers on their toes by doing spot checks and calls. My Father became friendly with the caregivers quickly and enjoyed their company.

My mom passed away in February, but through Caring.com, I was able to get the care that my mom and dad needed. Assisting Hands’ caregivers were excellent. There were three or four who were involved who were professional and courteous. We started with four hours a day, seven days a week, and then when my mom got worse, we went up to 24-hour care. The billing seemed to be in line with everybody else. I wouldn't say it was cheap, but I would say it was fair to the market.

Assisting Hands provides service for my father. My dad is satisfied with their service. We used them in June and for two and a half weeks now. They’re responsive, they seem to care, and they’re reliable. The staff is friendly.

I called Assisting Hands the day before I needed help for my mother. They had someone available within 24 hours. My mother liked the caregivers. They were warm and caring. We used them for 2 weeks.

Assisting Hands is great. I deal with things with the owner, Matt. They take care of my father. The caregivers they sent are really well-screened. They'll do whatever we asked them to do in terms of different activities with my dad. One time, my dad was sick when the caregiver came in. She went with my dad to the hospital. Matt went there too and stayed with my father for 6 hours in the emergency room. He didn't even charge me for the time they spent with my dad in the emergency room. They're just amazing!

My mother was in an assisted living, and one of the residents recommended Assisting Hands. Each of the aides was very thorough, well-trained, and well-spoken. They were very considerate of my mother's needs. Matt, the owner and his staff were very concerned about my mother. One time, my mother was brought to the emergency room, and Matt showed up to make sure that everything was going OK. Matt is very focused on delivering a great service level. He's very responsive. He makes sure that his aides are providing great service. He welcomes feedback from the family.
