Our services provide care solutions to our seniors and veterans in the comfort of their own home. through our structured scheduling, We are able to provide your with real time professional consistent care.
We provide companion caregivers whose support is limited to household care, friendship, safety watch and other “non-personal” support. All our caregivers are bonded, insured, have undergone a criminal background check and drug tests.. Our caregivers who provide personal care with ADLs have also completed a specialized 76 hour training course, are certified by the state of New Jersey & have undergone skills verification by our Registered Nurse.
Our aide's arrival & departure times are actively monitored via our proprietary timekeeping system. If they are 10 minutes late, we know about it and start fixing it.
Our client web portal allows you to see your visit schedule. You will also have access to your visit history.
We believe that home remains the safest place for you or your loved one, as indications show that the virus is spread more quickly in a larger group or public settings. Possible exposure will remain the lowest for those who are able to stay in their homes with limited outside contact. For this reason, we feel fortunate to be able to provide care that can keep clients at home and limit their exposure through individualized/personalized care and support.

They could make my life easier by actually having caregivers available.
I'd recommend them more if they were actually communicating with us.

We had one that was so bad that I fired her on the spot. It seems they grab someone off the street. Once we had one person, I forget her name but she's from Haiti. She took my mom's dirty clothes and stuffed them behind her laundry basket and my mom's incontinent. I told her to use a folding table to make my mom a meal and she put it flat on the floor. She left garbage on a plate and left it on the counter and ants were all over. She left things all over the floor.
It's gotten better because now we have an aide. I had a big problem because they said they had someone and they never showed up. When I didn't have someone scheduled they had someone show up and they never told me. The communication is atrocious. We have a wonderful aide now and we really like her. We had another person that was good too.

She supports with showers and supports feeding.

I don't think there is anything iCare can do to make her life easier. They are doing enough. There is internal stuff she needs to do.
At this point in time, everything is fine with iCare. I have no complaints. I like that they are punctual. They have accountability.

When they are there, they are good, but they seem to cancel a lot.

The staff have been excellent. They are there for my mother-in-law.
The service has been pretty good. Sometimes it is hard to get through to talk to someone.

They could have more aides available.
The actual aide that they had was excellent person but she left suddenly because of the agency. When they called me to tell me that she was no longer going to come to the home it was difficult because it takes time to find a new caregiver that fits. When they called and told me that the caregiver wasn't coming they did not give me an explanation or have a back up caregiver.

My caregiver stopped coming but when she was coming she was wonderful.
They did not let me know that my caregiver was not coming. They need to be more responsible.

When I really needed help with my apartment because I am suffering with Parkinson's disease. I had trouble moving around.
The lady who helped me clean the apartment was great. The technician that helped me with my legs worked with me well.

It was a lifesaver. They did all my dressings, flushing, and everything for my wound care. They also came in the mornings, which I preferred.
They were awesome. They just took good care of me.

My mother is bedbound, so her caregiver takes care of her. She makes my mom smile. She's a very big help.
I really love our aide. She's very helpful. She does everything for my mom, and she has a nice personality. She cleans for us and takes care of my mom. We're happy with her.
