SYNERGY HomeCare Nashua has been really good so far. They're very helpful and they're there for everything that we need. They're very good with the scheduling and everything as well. The caregiver mostly helps with a little bit of housework, like hanging around, cooking, and stuff like that. The caregiver is very happy, and very open to doing anything. When we ask her to do anything she's right on top of it. She's really great and very energetic. They're doing great.

I was not happy with SYNERGY HomeCare. I was barely getting my appointments covered. They were very young girls that were coming to the house. Some were nurses aides and some weren't. I didn't get the help that I needed. Part of it was just because when they come, they were, 'Well, I'm going to sit for the day and I'll be sitting here.' I was getting up to go water, and they're like, If you're in there, can you get me like a cookie or an orange?' It was not good. They were supposed to provide help like cooking. I didnt expect them to clean but to help me with my dog on certain times when I can't move as easily. I have one doctor that is in Boston that I have to go down and see about 4 to 6 weeks, and half of them didn't want to because they were scared to drive down there. I was paying them more per hour but I wasn't getting the services. I was not happy with that. Also they didn't have a lot of people working for them. I didn't have the family support up here which is why I needed respite care person to begin with. I used them for about 9 to 12 months and they were going Monday through Friday 6 to 8 hours, which was a lot of time. However, I would not consider them an adequate source. I would not recommend them.

I'm really happy with SYNERGY. I have no problem with communication. They're flexible. Everything is fine. I'm not having any difficulties. They do medications, housecleaning, cooking, dishes and laundry. They're wonderful people. My caregiver refills my bathroom soap bottle, and I was so touched with that because it was such a little thing that she did on her own. She makes it a point to check everything. The value of money is extremely reasonable, which is amazing to me. I would definitely recommend them.
