The caregivers are top notch and respectful of their clients’ needs. They are friendly and make a difference in their clients’ wellbeing. The light housekeeping duties allow me to visit my mom rather than doing chores. The administrators work hard to accommodate whatever service time changes are needed to keep our parents safe and in their home. I’m so appreciative for all they’ve done for my mom.

My Mom has been in the care of Home Instead for over 5 years. Everything from their ability to match care givers to the dependability of care givers, to communication to outstanding service and responsiveness. There is not enough time to write all the accolades I have about Home Instead. To sum it up, they are the best at all that they do. I have never had anything to say but the highest of praise in all aspects. I would be glad to those who are considering Home Instead services.

My 99 year old Mom has been cared for by the wonderful people at Home Instead for the past 9 months. The caregivers are professional, personable, and engaged and interested in her life. She looks forward to their visit each night. They arrive on time and the staff is always willing to help when schedule changes are required. Thank you so much for being there for both my Mom and me. I know that she is safe and in good hands when I am not there. Katherine H. (Durham, NH)

My Mom currently is a client for the past 3 years. We have been very fortunate with the care that she has received. All 3 caregivers assigned to her have become her companion and that is very much appreciated. They are all dependable and go over and above to give my Mom exceptional care and understanding. They are a great support to my family as well. I have on many occasions had to reach out to the agency to add additional shifts last minute and not once have I not been accommodated. Quinci does a great job and meets all my requests in a timely manner and she is very pleasant to talk too.

I've chosen Home Instead. So far, I'm very happy with it. They do cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and transportation to doctors. They've done everything I need so far. I don't have a problem with them at all.

My mother has home care persons come in from Home Instead Senior Care. We called one day, and they were there the next day. She has two caregivers that come in every day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. She has one lady come in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; another one comes in on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. They do a few housekeeping chores. They help with my mother?s exercises and take her for a walk. Mom says they?re very friendly. She feels guilty because she thinks she has to entertain them, and I keep telling her that they?re there to entertain her.

My mother-in-law has someone from Home Instead that comes in a couple of days or whenever needed. The one that she's had, she was very pleased with. They are very good with her. She is happy with them, so far. They are excellent. If you need extra help, they oblige. I can't say anything negative about them.

I have a number of clients using Home Instead Senior Care, and both they and I have been pleased with them. Among the pros: -Communication is outstanding. There's an easy flow of information back and forth. They listen well when I describe a client and make a real attempt to make a good match of caregiver to client. In one instance, I had a difficult client who was used to things being done exactly as he wanted, and the owner accompanied me to a meeting with him, so she'd understand exactly what he was looking for in a caregiver for his wife. They also do what they say "“ and they do it in a timely manner. -They offer escorts to doctor appointments and the escorts are willing and able to take careful notes, so I don't always have to be there. -They also offer companion care and PCAs who also do housekeeping (clients are really looking for one person to fill both roles). -They're the only home care agency I know of that offers internal Alzheimer's training, and the program is mandatory for all caregivers. They're also planning to enhance the training course in September 2011. -Their replacement availability is usually good. I really haven't seen any cons. They don't yet have a live-in caregiver program off the ground, but they're working on it.
