Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They are good when they get people. Sometimes I just don't know who and when they are coming.
They could let us know if a caregiver has to reschedule. I don't really have any other problems with them, I just want to know who is coming to my apartment a little sooner.

My caregiver only comes here twice a week. So far, it's been really good. My caregiver has helped me the most by doing my laundry.
I am happy with it. I like the attendant.

He doesn't remember from one to day to the next, he has no short term memory.
We have had the same person for the past 7 years, so it has been consistent for us.

When the caregivers are here, they are very prompt. They are thorough with their work.
I would recommend this agency because the aides are always prompt and reliable. I need people that I can depend on.

This agency should keep one primary caregiver instead of having different people every time.

My mom wants to stay at home, but I don't have any choice in what they do, so there's a lot of frustration going on. I go to work, then they don't show up, so I have to call them and find out that they slept in.
They need to do better with the schedule. We've had them six weeks and they have already missed four nights where no one has showed up.

The services have made a huge impact on my life for many reasons. The main reason being that I am able to live my life very independently thanks to the caregivers coming into my home and helping me out.
I wish that Right at Home continued to improve the communication.

I like that they do my dishes and my clothes. We do some exercises, too. They are very nice people.

The girls that they sent were good for the most part. I appreciated the girls attitude and their cheerfulness.
They have clients that need their services or else they would not be using them. They told me one day they couldn't give me services anymore and left me the whole weekend without it.

She basically kept him company so he wouldn't fall. It was mostly self care. He went down in the last month.
My husband found a company that he really enjoyed. They really enjoyed their time together.

They could listen to our feedback and do what we want as long as it won't cause any damage or pain. They should just let us do what we want.

They should get the same person in there to be able to handle all of her needs.
I would like them to improve their turnover. We have had many people over the past few years, and when working with older clients, there needs to be the same people that come to the appointments each week. There is also a lot of interruptions in my grandma's care when she is or is not using it.

When there are schedule changes, they can make sure we are aware.
If they change the caregivers that they send out, they could notify us.

I'd like a consistent caregiver instead of different ones every time.
We don't really have consistency, and it's a new caregiver every time. They aren't able to transfer my loved one from wheelchair to wheelchair, and they've dropped her before.

What we needed for the care changed while we had the services.
They need to be aware when a client has physical problems. It was hard for my loved one to move from place to place, so they need to help with things like that.

They could screen their caregivers a little more. They tend to come and go.
I go by what my loved one tells me about the services. They could coordinate with their people more. The company was bought out a few years ago, and my loved one liked them better before they were bought out.

She is very good. I was sick around Thanksgiving time, and she came over and suggested that I get some Pepto Bismol, lemon lime pop, and other things. After that, I felt better.
I have had nice girls, and I have liked most of the people, but I am kind of picky in that way.

I am not back to walking yet, but I'm getting there. They could be better about checking the pass down sheet more thoroughly.
I like the dependability from Right at Home. They make a lot of effort to find me replacement caregivers if one can't show up.

Ann, Jennifer and Beth have been such a life saver for me and my family. The nurses are wonderful and we were able to keep Mom at home for over a year with their help. Mom is now in assisted living or we would still have them caring for Mom.

I have been using Right At Home every morning since April 2014. I have been so pleased with their help. The owners and the staff are very caring people and always positive and willing to help in any way. They are very well organized and efficient and everything runs smoothly.
