Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I appreciate the effort to find caregivers that are compatible with my father. Some of the caregivers could be more proactive with some of the chores he needs to be done.
I like that it is easy to work with the admin and manager.

It helps us immensely because we are both handicapped, and the caregiver helps with things around the house.
Some of the caregivers weren't trained to do the housework, and they weren't really staying on task.

I would like them to improve the ability to communicate with the caregivers through an app or something like that.

They come and help with things like going on walks, and they go to the fitness center. They do puzzles and other games.
Maybe give the caregivers more direction on how to entertain the client.

They have shown up and been on time, and they have a list of things to do which they generally accomplish all of.
They've helped me the most by keeping my house organized.
They are on time and easy to get along with.
I like the punctuality and the fact that the caregivers come to my house and get work done.

They could screen their employees more.
I had a caregiver who never really showed up or did anything, but they billed me for every minute they were supposed to be here. They also billed me for the time their people came out to see what the problem was.

We're finding out how the new caregiver will perform, the other had a really poor performance.
They have been here roughly 12 times, during these times we've had over 5 people, my wife cannot handle that many people coming in, so just today they solved the issue.

The caregivers were all different. The second would find something to do like mop the floors and sanitize everything.
The first girl did not know what to do and the second girl was willing to do anything but had nothing to do. His swelling and everything has gotten better. He refuses to leave his room. We only need his room to be cleaned and I usually do that.

The people they sent were good. I can tell that they really cared about my husband.
They were not honest about about the cost. I only needed one person. They sent 3 people in the day and 3 at night at $65 each person. They had originally told me that I would be paying $35 for just one person. They kept sending more people.

I can only use 1 arm, so they help change my sheets on my bed. They have done laundry and folded clothes, whatever I ask to be done they do.
They have been very accommodating in me changing schedule shifts.

They have had some trouble with her since she was adjusting. The tried to help.
They are on time when they get here. I wish I could have a caregiver to do some better cooking. Also, with going to the dr they are able to sit with her.

It's great because I know they are there and it helps me not worry about her mistaking her medicine. They do pick up but some of them don't do as much as they should.
I think that the agency is very honest and they try to do what they can do, my sister is difficult and they've handled her very well.

Right at Home came to the rescue when I needed 24/7 caregivers for my mom under very difficult circumstances. For over a year they have provided excellent service to me and my mom. I have felt 100% comfortable knowing that the caregivers were taking amazing care of my mom. Based on the level of care my mom received I can confidently say that some of her caregivers really love her. I am very picky about how my mom is cared for and Right at Home has been amazing. I am so grateful!

My husband fell on New Years Eve (no, not alcohol related). He had mobility issues before the fall. We needed HELP on New Years Day. Called RAH as they were recommended. Had to call them back 4 hours later because no one had contacted me. “Ok, we’ll get someone to call and do assessment.” Hour later, had to call them back, again. Finally Allisa from RAH called me. She had no idea what their rates were for where we live and no idea what the time limit might be. She had nurse Karen call for assessment. All I can say about her is that she was absolutely the most UNCARING person I’ve ever talked to. She gave me excuse after excuse why they couldn’t help. “It’s New Years, you live too far, you have dogs, it’s late notice....(sorry, I guess I should’ve planned my husbands accident better).” Karen definitely missed the care and compassionate class at nurses school. I could NEVER recommend this company. If they treat their patients like this, it’s would be scary and unsafe to have them in your home caring for your loved one.

Mere words cannot even begin to express the incredible impact the amazing team at Right at Home Omaha Metro has had for my mom, dad, my sisters and me. Right at home has been providing companion and personal care service for mom for almost a year now. While initially, we started with 10 hours a week to ensure mom was safe while Dad ran errands or attended coffee with friends, our needs have continued to grow. As mom's Alzheimer's has progressed, Right at Home has been right there with us and absolutely amazing in guiding our family through the changes mom is experiencing. We now have Right at Home helping mom about 50 hours a week. I cannot begin to express how comforting it is to know that a Right at Home caregiver is right there by mom's side to help her with daily activities and allowing my Dad to be the husband. The empathy, compassion, support, expertise, and professionalism of the Right at Home team is demonstrated daily throughout the company. The caregivers helping my mom are truly angels from above. They care for my mom like a family member and one caregiver even made my mom a darling "fidgit blanket" that helps calm and soothe her when she becomes agitated. With Right at Home's help, they are adding joy, comfort, support, and peace of mind everyday for our family. Without a doubt, Kristi and her team are delivering on their mission of improving the quality of life for those they serve. The entire team is a blessing and extremely responsive. Through their support, my mom and dad (who will be married 65 years in 2019) are able to stay together in their home until God calls them to his home.

The people at Right at Home responded to a family emergency over a long holiday weekend and were patient, kind, caring, and understanding. They were able to get a caregiver into my family member's home within hours to help out.
