We had a great experience with the Griswold Home Care Team in Fargo. We has experience with several other in home care companies and also a nursing home experience. We had to kiss many frogs before finding our prince! The Griswold Home Care Team (GHCTF) was consistent, no surprises on billing, and built a special report with my Mom who was not always warm and fuzzy. The assistance allowed family members relief, and time to take care of their own families. The caregivers played games with our Mother, kept her clean, styled her hair, painted her nails, gave her pride in her appearance on a daily basis. This was above and beyond based on care from other companies. Meals were prepared, medicine reminders given promptly and her house was always clean and tidy. If we had schedule changes, the team was responsive. One nice service offered by GHCTF was they collected from the insurance company. The other home care teams we worked with had us pay them and then we had to deal with the insurance company for reimbursements. If you have done this before, it is time consuming and frustrating. Special thanks to Jamie, who cleared her calendar the last 24 hours of our Mother's life to assist with Hospice and all the moving parts that came with the surprise passing. Based on our experience, GHCTF is far superior in care and business practices than the several other companies we experienced in Fargo, ND.

I have my medications set up by the nurses every week. I look forward to their visits and they always seem happy to see me. They go over each medication with me as they are setting them up. I have weekly testing that affects how much medication I’m supposed to take. When I need to talk to one of the nurses, I always get a call back quickly if they aren’t able to talk to me when I call. I would tell anyone that needs help with their medications to only call griswald.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Griswold Home Care. They have been such a blessing for my Dad. He has complex medical issues that require top-notch aides, flexibility and quick thinking from his home health agency. From the perspective of his staffing, we couldn't be happier. He has the most qualified, kind, and nurturing staff members. They take excellent care of him while maintaining a happy, healthy apartment for him to live in. We are just as happy with Griswold's office staff as we are with his aides. They are there for us whenever we need them. Even if that means in the middle of the night, or early on a Sunday morning. They've been able to arrange staffing at a moment's notice (literally) due to an unexpected hospital discharge. Crystal, Lance, Alexis and the other staff are so helpful when it comes to problem-solving and keeping on top of his numerous issues. As I tell his staff often, he's able to live in his own place because of them. He'd be in a nursing home right now if not for the qualified services provided by Griswold. I wholeheartedly recommend Griswold to anyone looking for home health care. They are the best and we couldn't be happier.

Griswold Home Care of Fargo provided excellent service for our family during the recent need for in home care. Employees were caring and quickly established a relationship with the in home patient. Staff were always very timely even when we requested 24 hour care with multiple care providers. The staff were asked to keep accurate records of services provided and monitored use of medications. All records were kept up to date and timely. Griswold Home Care was very responsive to special requests and changed employees to make the best of difficult home care services required by the patient. Through the in-home services period Griswold employees showed empathy, kindness, and friendship towards all family members. We are grateful for the services provided and caring relationships that developed during the in-home health care period.

We moved our mother out of a residential care facility when her dementia and physical needs began to surpass the care we could get at the facility. Feeling that mom was at the point where she needed one-on-one care (and surrounded by family), we chose to go with Griswold on the recommendation of several of the staff of the care facility. It was the perfect move for us in this stage of her disease. Our mom is less anxious and hostile. She receives care on her schedule as opposed to the group’s schedule. And the caregivers are absolutely wonderful. They all interact well with mom and don’t mind having other family members around. And the caregivers work well and support each other. Overall, we spend much more time with mom, yet it is much less stressful than spending time at the care facility as mom’s disease progressed. There are many different care options in our community. Each has a specific role and can meet certain needs. Dealing with dementia, we’ve discovered that as needs change, so do care option priorities. We know we made the right decision to switch to in-home one-on-one care. And we know that we didn’t go wrong when we selected Griswold.
