Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

My worker is awesome. If I need help running the house or running errands, she does it. Even if she's not required to do it, she will still help me.
I would recommend Right at Home more if they communicated better. They don't always let me know when the workers aren't coming.

The caregivers will take me to church and then come to my house to clean up my bed and other things before I come back.
I like that the caregivers come when they say that they are going to so I'd recommend them.

My wife does a very good job. The VA arranged it. My wife hasn't attended the meetings because she has been busy.
I don't really have anything to say about the agency. The VA takes care of everything. My wife is the caregiver.

They could get an established caregiver at 4 o'clock. They are having a trouble finding somebody to fill that slot.

They are punctual. My grandpa is a fall risk, and she is there all the time. She will help him dress and undress when needed.
I like that they communicate very well. They let me know way in advance when the caregiver is taking time off.

I am home bound and I live in a condo that has stairs. They do my laundry, grocery shopping and a lot of the things I can no longer do for myself.
They have a very friendly staff. The office staff has also been very polite and helpful.

They had very good people. They did what they needed to do for the things I hired them for. They helped my husband a lot.
The biggest thing is they weren't in Detroit Lakes because they had a number for Detroit Lakes. The services were great, I just paid a lot of money for them.

My doctor told my family I had to be at a nursing home. So, there I went. My first 24 hours there was nothing but a bad experience, for me. My daughter was told about this agency & emailed Right at Home and within 24 hours, Right at Home had a schedule and a plan so I could be at home. This was the fastest service ever and that again made me worry. I just didn't want some strangers in my home, needed or not!
But, I do have to say, the staff is awesome and only wanted me to have want I needed & wanted. And punctual, said 9:00 am and they were there at 9:00 am! I will be short term, but if I ever need this kind of help again, I hope they're ready and able to be with me again! The staff is very respectful, polite, caring, educated and made me feel like they were family.

I am able to get through my daily life because of them. Before they started helping me, there was a constant mess. When I have surgery recoveries, they keep everything clean for me, and I don't have to worry about falling since they are here with me.
They need to have consistency with their employees. I had one poor employee and one that was really good when she was here, but she was inconsistent because she was late a lot. I have one now that is really great.

I take care of my husband for chemotherapy, so we physically cannot take care of my dad. There was a chance that he wouldn't be accepted at the nursing home. This way, we are pretty well set for having at least someone for part of the time.
The caregivers have been very qualified and well trained.

They have helped me the most because they are caring for my mother and helping her get dressed.
They are still growing and just hiring people, but at this time, they don't have many people working for them.
