We're using Home Instead for dad. They do light housekeeping and laundry and a little bit of cooking. They sit with him when I do groceries and those kinds of things. No one's perfect, but they really do a great job. Three different people come on different days, but all of them are excellent. They understand their jobs. They are compassionate, careful, and respectful. It's working well.

Our CNA is always on time. She is very attentive to my mother's needs. She fixes her meals, helps her get dressed, helps her with bathing and fixes her hair. She also sweeps, mops, dusts, wash dishes, changes bed linens, folds clothes & anything else that we might need. She is even more diligent about sanitizing & disinfecting now that we are trying to avoid the corona virus. Our whole family loves her. Anytime I have called the office for extra service they have tried to accommodate us.

I'm very pleased with Home Instead in Wilkesboro, I regret not doing it sooner. It's basically a huge worry laid off my shoulders and I'm very satisfied. We have them 7 days a week at a sitter kind of situation. My friend has dementia so she doesn't comprehend asking or calling for help. The caregivers just sit there with her 8 hours a day and whatever she needs during that time, they're kind of her voice. The caregivers are very conscientious, concerned and very informative. They call me in the event of when they deem something worth looking into.

We LOVE our care giver! We also greatly appreciate the administrative response to any questions or changes of schedule that arise. Home Instead works with our personal schedules, handles our requests, and always lets us choose what we want for any given situation. Thank you for excellent service!

My Mom’s caregiver is very kind and dependable. She helps Mom with a bath, cleans her bathroom, makes her bed, and does some light housework. She is an excellent listener and is very patient with my mom. When we have had to rearrange the schedule, Home Instead personnel has always been very helpful and gracious to work with us. My family and I have been very satisfied with all the Home Instead’s services.

The initial consultation with Home Instead was only $60 and lasted three hours. One of the things that I'm very pleased with was we had caregivers who would stay for long periods of time. One girl came on Sunday morning and stayed until Thursday. They're using CNA students and nursing students from the local university. However, one of the care persons that they have there is elderly herself, and when the morning daycare person came in, she noticed that the oven had been left on all night by that person. We had to talk to them about that, and they've been really super good at making sure that my friend is being well cared for and safe. Another thing with Home Instead that I did not see from other companies was that each time a new worker that's never been here before comes, the supervisor comes and gets the person settled in and introduces the caregiver to us. She also stays at least half a day to make sure that the care is up to the level that she wants. I really could not be more pleased.

I had Home Instead before. I fired them after 6 years because I keep losing my good help, and I can’t find help. The services they offered were cooking, cleaning, and bathing.
