This company has more of a focus of telling the client what they will do for them than of asking what is needed. The saddest part is that they are dishonest about the schedule consistency that they promise, and then they REFUSE to return phone calls when a phone conference is requested to discuss such matters. Due to their NO SHOWS, prioritizing “having to attend a party”, and similar behavior, my grandmother was left without the needed care we’d hired, and she ended up hospitalized. The stories change frequently based on whatever untrue statements they cook up for not being available to either provide care or call a client back I would never recommend them. Even when their managers make promises, we quickly learned that we could not rely on that due to high management turnover.

Comfort Keepers was OK. We used them only once. I had a medical procedure at the hospital and I needed a driver. The caregivers were pretty good; however, they were sort of old and had trouble finding the place.

Comfort Keepers were not flexible. I have ALS and it is not always possible that I may have to go see a doctor or a specialist with very little advance notice. So when I called them and said to the lady scheduler that I'm not going to need a caregiver tomorrow because I have a doctor's appointment, she said, 'OK, but we're going to have to charge you because you didn't give us notice.' I said to that person, 'Just so you know if you charge me one penny, you're on your way out.' They didn't charge me, but that day I started to look for a replacement. Comfort Keepers was history.

We have been with Comfort Keepers for two years now. We have a superstar as a home health assistant. She is exceptional! She helps me out with all kinds of personal care, like showering, personal hygiene, grocery shopping, washing clothes, and going to the grocery store. Billing is good now that we have it straightened out. She tries very hard but she is not available a lot of the times. Many of the times, you have to leave a voicemail message for her. She does very well and she is very helpful, but she is not always available.

My father hired Comfort Keepers in the past. It was great. Everybody was friendly and definitely helpful. Every one they sent our way was great and they were so sweet. They helped him warm up his lunch, they helped straighten out his bathroom, they made up the bed, and they made sure he was dressed before I got home. My father was OK with the caregivers.

We have used Comfort Keepers for a period of time. Overall, it was a good experience. We had regular help, it was constant, so it was good. I was really pleased with them. They provided my husband with basic care, e.g., his daily needs, daily skin care, hair care, help with bathing, help with transfer, tidying up the area, and assisting with meals as needed. The caregivers were nice and very pleasant.

I have four different helpers from Comfort Keepers. The caregiver comes and fixes breakfast, helps me get in the shower, cleans my room, and washes my clothes; however, by that time, the two hours is up. I am comfortable with them, but they switch them up so fast. The lady I have here now has been here for about two weeks. She comes in and helps for two hours. Everything she is supposed to do for me, she does it, and then she leaves. Everything is alright; everything is OK.

I have been using Comfort Keepers. The caregiver has been with me for at least six months. She is wonderful. I'm very pleased with her. Overall, I have been satisfied with Comfort Keepers. The caregiver comes to me one day a week. She will do grocery shopping or other shopping that is necessary, and on occasion there are doctor's visits. She also cleans the area in my house. I'm exceedingly comfortable with her.

We had Comfort Keepers for my mom. It was just for a temporary basis, but the service was very good, the care was very good, and their work ethics were very good too.
