Caregivers have been universally helpful both in dealing with my wife and with my household affairs. They are generally on time and have a "can do" attitude about what we need to do to make my wife's hospice care as comfortable as possible. The agency has been able to fill most of my requests. We use them a log.

The care has been excellent and the communication is also. I am able to do things that were very hard for me to find the time for when I was the sole caregiver. All of the staff are very good at what they do and I feel that I can count on their help whenever we need it.

A warm and caring person to help me with my morning. Showering safely and dressing. Making breakfast and clean-up. All the little things that need doing to start the day. But the best is the human connection. I don't just have a helper, I have a friend.

Home Instead Senior Care comes in two days a week for three hours a day. They help with changing the bed, getting my mother dressed and getting a shower, light housework, and just give my dad a break. That has worked out really well, they're very good, and I would recommend them. They've been very interactive. They have a log that they maintain, they take notes, and they keep us involved on how the care is going. One of the nurses contacted us about some things that she observed reviewing the logs and offered areas for improvement.

This comment is specific to Home Instead Senior Care of Wilmington, NC. My husband has ALZ. I have elected to keep him at home throughout his battle with ALZ. I was pressured by his doctors as well as our family/friends to seek a service for assistance. I am so pleased to have found HISC of Wilmington. I was immediately impressed by their knowledge of senior care, their integrity and genuine caring. This caring is evident by the care-giver assigned to us as well as by everyone we have met from HISC of Wilmington.. I understand that those at the top of HISC of Wilmington have a health care background. Their caring background is reflected by each of their associates. Should you, a family member or a friend require assistance, without hesitation, I strongly recommend HISC of Wilmington.

Our Home Instead care giver is providing excellent care for my mother who has dementia and is 86 years of age. Her attentiveness to details and the relationship she has developed with my mother is in no small way appreciated.

We have Home Instead Senior Care. They're excellent. They get along well with my father. They pretty much do whatever he needs them to do, e.g. drive them wherever he needs to go, cook him meals, and clean his house. They were the ones that fit for what we needed the best.

The aide that my mother has is very punctual, very attentive. My mother doesn't need too much care, mostly companionship. But she's there to help in any way. I see her every morning because I go in to my mom before I go to work. She does whatever my mom needs. And as of today, the nurse from Home Instead is paying my mom a visit to make sure that her medical needs are met and she's okay. I feel they're very organized and caring for their patients and all that.

We chose to have Home Instead for my dad because it was referred to us by a friend. They are very professional and it feels like that it's a good match for him. We did not wait for too long. I must say they are doing a very good job with taking care of my dad. So far I can say that it's a good experience.

I placed my mother at Home Instead Senior Care shortly after she was diagnosed with Alzheimers three years ago. While sadly, she died last year, I was blessed with the tremendous care and consideration Home Instead showed to her, me, and my family through the tough time. Overall, my experience with Home Instead was very positive. The staff were all very kind and generous, and would go out of their way to help my mother whenever she needed something the number of times I would go visit her. My mother always seemed very content with her living environments, and often times I would see one or more workers keeping her company and talking with her. They made sure that she was properly cared for, received her medications on time, and was receiving the attention she needed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead Senior Care to any of my friends or others seeking a good environment for their elderly loved ones.
