The staff at cornerstone caregiving enable my aunt to stay in independent living rather than assisted living. They check on her well-being and remind her to take meds. They also are proactive in performing tasks like changing bed linens, emptying trash, bringing coffee. In my communications with staff, they are caring and positive. They leave notes for me to inform of needs and activities. They seem happy which indicates they enjoy their work. I am very satisfied with their service.

We used Cornerstone Caregiving. They were absolutely amazing. Nate came into my home and went over everything that they would provide for my mom, and asked me any questions that I might have regarding that. And then they brought the in-home nurse in and let me visit with her and get to meet her before she started taking care of my mom, but she was absolutely amazing, the nurse they brought in with my mom. You know, she sat there and talked with my mom while I was away at work, like they'd been best friends forever, and almost like a granddaughter or something, and was very caring with my mom. My mom couldn't walk after her stroke, she had care that she needed to be taken care of, meaning changed and everything like that,, because at that time she couldn't get up and go to the bathroom. If it couldn't be me in the home, I'm thankful that it was them. I only used them for one day because Mom had to go back to the emergency room; otherwise I would have used them longer. They made her food, they sat and talked with her. They did have her start trying to move her left leg because that was the one that wouldn't work, trying to exercise it anyway, because that's an important thing when you have a stroke. They changed her clothes. Any medication that she had to have, she's the one that had to pick it out, they can't take it out of her container. They would just say, "It's time for you to take your Parkinson's, and do you know where it is?" And she would say, "OK." Those are the service things, just basic needs for her. There were two agencies I would have chosen, and Cornerstone Caregiving were the ones who called me back first and that’s why I chose them.

Both my father and I have been extremely pleased with Cornerstone. Nate has been fantastic in providing information, communication and follow through. My dad looks forward to and enjoys Tony's visits and caring assistance.
