They provide me with showers, assistance with tasks I need to do such as some of my physical therapy exercises, do light housekeeping for me, and do some food prep which is all very helpful.
They are able to consistently provide an aide that fits my schedule, so I'd certainly recommend them.

I have the same nurse consistently. Consistency is a major thing for me. I do not have to explain things to a different nurse every week, and I do not get stressed out.
They could have the proper personnel. Preferably, ones that they have checked the criminal backgrounds on.

At this point I do not know a whole lot, we are probably going to put my father in hospice.
I know this is tough for anyone. I think for the most part the kids that come are pretty good. We have had a few issues with the girls wearing headphones and not hearing my parents. Those are a few of the pieces.

I had a bad experience with my first caregiver. She came to my door during the COVID-19 crisis without a mask and was coughing. I called bout this situation and the office told me she was supposed to be wearing a mask.

They need to be sensitive to my mother's needs, supportive, caring, and experienced.
When my caregiver left on vacation they provided someone that was not a good fit. It was a disaster. I hope they are doing a better job with screenings. The other issue I have is the cost because they went up in price. I can't find any justification on the cost of services that we have.

I could not have done it without them. I had a wound and I could not reach the wound so I needed some help.
There was a fill in nurse that was pretty new to the company and she was a little over eager to prove herself and she would tell me a lot of things that I did not need to know about.

I got my medication which was necessary but it is hard to find someone that can show up in a normal time frame and they could not actually deliver my medication.

I'm able to receive health care in my environment instead of going to a VA facility in St. Louis or elsewhere.
I would recommend them because I've had good results with the people that come out. They're very considerate, and I've been impressed. I'm very pleased with the CNA type job and the cooking and cleaning they do. The nursing concept with antibiotics in the afternoon has been nice. They could have a little more exact timing in the afternoon. That would be nice, but I know I'm not the only one receiving services. As long as I get my IV, I'm good.

My dad said that his caregiver was a keeper. She did a great job once my father had passed away. She did a great job of taking over by contacting the hospice nurse. She actually helped clean him up for the funeral, too.
We only had them for two nights. The caregiver did a good job while we used them. It was a difficult situation.

Most of the people did their job and were pleasant to be around when they were here, but they didn't always send me caregivers that fit my needs.
It seems like they didn't really care about me as a client and the needs that I had. I would have liked consistency in the care provided for me. I felt like they left me hanging.

We used Brightstar Care of Mid Missouri for a month for Dad, and there was nothing wrong with their service. They came three times a week for three hours a day. They cleaned the house and the caregiver was fine.

He can't do any daily living activities as well as he used to, so they help with cleaning and making sure he eats his meals while she is there.
They are good at making adjustments to the schedule when he needs them to. That is most important at the moment.

The management was bad. They did not know my mom has dementia, and the nurse manager did not enter any of the notes when they came.

We have been pretty aggravated with them, but we appreciate their help greatly. We haven't had the same caregiver at all, but the help is excellent. We only have them for about two days a week. We'd rather have the same caregiver.

I couldn't live my life without someone doing the things they do for me. I'm quite disabled, and they're wonderful! To have them here regularly is essential.
They have a lot of good caregivers. They have some scheduling and management problems that are a little worrisome.

It is hard to find the right caregiver, I have worked with many caregivers and none have not been helpful. It is had for me when I do not have a caregiver who will stand by me and help me get around.

I like that they are able to assist me in the things that I need by doing what they are supposed to, especially with my walker and getting in and out of the car. I don't know what I would do without them because I don't have to worry when my daughter isn't here to go do my shopping, which is a big relief.

They are friendly, professional, and have a bonded staff. The management is accessible. My mother still doesn't see the need to have someone there. She has Alzheimer's. When they show up, it makes me feel better.

We have had a couple of times where there has been a mix-up in times when the caregivers needed to show up. I think some of the problems were more with the management and not the caregivers. Most of the caregivers we have had have been very good at taking care of my loved ones. I don't have to worry as much about my loved ones being alone at night because of their caregiver.
