He knows someone is there while I am at work. He knows if he has a fall, someone will be there to help him.

The caregiver will do whatever we need help with, like personal care and assistance in transferring my loved one.
The caregivers that have come have been excellent at giving care and the office checks in regular to make sure we are satisfied with everything so we would recommend them.

I don't have to worry about my loved one when the caregiver is there to help with his needs. They enjoy hanging out together, which is really nice.
I am very happy with them as my dad really enjoys our caregiver who is a real nice guy and very easy to work with on anything.

The caregiver from SYNERGY is very thorough in providing care for my husband with love, patience and humor and it makes me feel comfortable to leave and go out to do things, while the caregiver is here.
From the very beginning, I had a meeting with Mitch and he did such an amazing job at going over everything with me and it made me feel like that is where I wanted my husband's care to come from.

What they do is hugely important to us. When they do it right, it is wonderful, when they do it wrong, it is awful.
I would like them to have consistency in caregivers. Weekends are unreliable.

In my mother's case, it was just to have somebody around all the time, which I believed helped tremendously.
They could improve bathing and hair washing. They could also have more interaction with the client, like reading together or doing puzzles together.

They're all different. You can tell which ones are in it because they enjoy doing PCA work and some of them are in it just for the money. Some of them come in and know what is expected because they have been here several times. They don't need to be reminded. I don't know if some have a lack of motivation that are terrible.
Right now, it appears that they have more clients than caregivers. They're not able to fill the spots for clients.

I have many needs and I feel abandoned. The blame has been shifted to me. They could have done everything I listed above, including sending adequately trained people. They have sent me caregivers who are terrified of dogs and I own a dog. I've had caregivers want to come and sit and collect the pay. When I was finally assigned a good caregiver, she was reassigned to another position.
If they would have a back up system for shifts covered that would be good. I would like to see them match the caregivers with the needs of the client. Some of the caregivers are juniors in high school. The caregivers need to be paid better, so I understand why they are having trouble staffing.

There's nothing they can do to make his life easier. He's doing pretty well considering that he's in his 90's.
There really isn't much for them to improve on. The people we've had in our home have been very nice.

I liked the services because the aides that came were very different from each other but excellent. They worked hard. My husband liked them to.

He liked it a lot with getting the exercise. The social interaction was good for him. He would have liked to have it more often and for it to have lasted longer.
I was never in there when he was having therapy. No one was. It was kind of short lived. They could have communicated with me a little more because I didn't know what he was working on or what he was doing.

The good ones went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and talked with him respectfully. They had a nurturing and pleasant attitude. The others were lazy and shouldn't be int he field because they were not nurturing. I believe they didn't like their job.
Some of their caregivers were excellent, some mediocre, and others shouldn't be in the field in my opinion.

The services allowed me to sleep. I wasn't sleeping very well because I was so worried about my mom.
The man who owns the company was here the very next day after we called them. He spent a lot of time with us.
I think that they pay their workers a percentage of the fee, and I really like that. I think the agency pays the caregivers more than other agencies. Because of that, the caregivers stay longer and are more experienced.

It was an incredibly difficult time. I was sick at the time, my husband required a lot of care and they provided it. They did a great job.
I had to hire an agency to care for my husband, it was the hardest thing I've had to do in my life, but the agency was very good.

We weren't very satisfied with the people that they sent us.
My loved one is 99 years old. We were looking for someone to come in a couple of times a week to sit and talk with her and give us some free time. We only got young girls that could not relate to her at all.

There were some extenuating circumstances, and things changed daily. We were paying for people to be there while she was in the hospital to have a second set of eyes. There were a couple times where there was a misunderstanding, and things were pretty stressful.
They were very accommodating.

She needs the help, but she doesn't want the help. My mom prefers my dad to take care of her. I think the caregivers are great.
They need to have a larger staff. We need help for my mom on weekends. We are having trouble finding a caregiver. It has been longer than we were hoping.

We can't leave my father alone. They provide companionship and are a pill reminder. They help him dress if it is necessary.
