The home care and nursing visits have been very helpful and all the staff has been very easy to work with. They have also been very helpful when I have had to make scheduling changes. I have been very happy with the services provided by Home Instead.

Our family first engaged the services of Home Instead some months ago when our mom was in Rehab and our dad was unable to care for himself at home. Mom has now been home for many months, but both she and Dad are facing many of the physical and mental challenges that accompany aging. It had become clear that their children were not able to provide the hands on care that they need. Both of our parents are well into their 90s and we had never had in home help for them, so it was with some trepidation that we engaged the services of Home Instead. This has turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for Mom and Dad and for our entire family. We have a regular team of caregivers who provide services to Mom and Dad 24/7. We like to say that the caregivers are examples of the Beatitudes in action. They are caring, competent, compassionate, professional, flexible, and kind. They have a wide variety of backgrounds and each of them comes with an interesting personality and special expertise. Our parents are experiencing an ever increasing number and kind of needs. The Home Instead staff has taken all of this in stride. They are a cheerful presence in our parents’ home. They tell us that they look forward to spending time with our parents and that they enjoy being with them. They have provided us “kids” with a level of comfort and relief that we have not experienced for several years. It is an honor and privilege to work with them to help our parents be as comfortable and happy as possible at this difficult time in their lives. We are exceedingly grateful for their help.

My mother has advanced Parkinson's and requires 24 hour care. The staff at Home Instead has always been very nice and caring. She enjoys their company very much and the care is excellent.
