We first chose Senior Helpers for my husband. Somebody came and just did things for him while I was having some surgery. He's now deceased and I've continued to use the woman from them. She’s a wonderful person. She helps me get dressed, does some cooking for me and takes me to the doctor and things like that. I would say I have a good agency.

I chose Senior Helpers because they were the only company that would do three hours in the morning and three hours at night time when I came home from the nursing home. Now, I get help four hours a day (8am – 12nn) for seven days a week. They help me with everything. I am on a wheelchair so they do my cleaning, my cooking and my laundry. I have a great bunch of girls. They're always here on time and anything I want them to do, they're willing to do it. I tell them what to do every day when they get here. If I need my floor cleaned, they'll clean that and if the laundry needs to be done, they'll do laundry. In addition, we like the owner of the company very well.

We have used Senior Helpers for a couple of years now and they've been wonderful. My dad has Parkinson's and he is the one that is being cared for. I know Nicole and all the girls. Parkinson's has a lot of challenges to it and they are all very attentive and accommodating to him. The caregivers are very kind, caring and always on time. They make breakfast, shower and assist him in a variety of things. Their office staff is very accommodating too. The girls have my number and touch bases with me. They’re just everything you need. They're kind the like family.

We have been with Senior Helpers for about a month now. Dad's nurse told me about them. Nicole (our case worker) is very efficient and very personable. She found a perfect person for dad, exactly what we were looking for who can play cards with him and provide him good companionship and some light housekeeping such as making meals. Scheduling has been good too. As a matter of fact, dad had asked for an extra day and then he decided that he doesn't want to pay that much. So they started another day and stopped another day right away. I feel bad that we had to cancel. She's been very flexible and it was fabulous. We've been very pleased.
