They provided compassionate care for my wife who was afflicted with ALS. They cared for my wife and helped with the housework a couple of days per week. This was a big help for me as the sole caregiver and for my wife as she was able to interact with someone other than me (my wife was a very social person). They were always very caring and friendly.

Home instead has been such a life changer. I really needed some extra help but was very hesitant. Michelle came out and and answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable. Since we have had the service I have not been disappointed. The ladies come and take great care of my mom while being so respectful and professional.

The caregiver assigned to my mother was fantastic. She did everything she could to go above and beyond what was needed. My mother was diagnosed with ALS and he caregiver tailored to her needs and made her as comfortable as possible.

Grade A service. I was treated with a smile and was given accurate and concise information over the phone, as well as in person. Caregivers were exceptionally timely and organized. The agency overall responded within the appropriate amount of time to fit my needs while also being flexible with my requests. The agency was seen to be very well put together and accommodating to my needs as I was new to using this provider. Would highly recommend to others and will certainly use as needed in the future over other providers.

I needed help with my 98 year old mother who lives with me. My doctor suggested Home Instead, as she had prior contact with the company. Well, she was right, I have been so pleased with staff and how accommodating and responsive they are. My caregiver Nicole is wonderful, she is professional, kind and goes above and beyond completing requested task. She also does many things around the home that I did not request. Who does that? My mother can be difficult but she is so patient with her and lets things flow off. She knows how far to push her and when to let her rest. My mom has said many times how professions she is. Home Instead has made it possible for my mom to stay in my home and supply the additional care that I am unable to do. I highly recommend them.

My long term boyfriend is and has always been very close with his grandfather. After his grandmother passed, his grandfather seemed very lonely and began to neglect his own self care. My boyfriend began dedicating all the time he had available to caring for and accompanying his grandfather, but with his (and my) careers both taking off, it became difficult to find time for us to maintain a healthy relationship. The stress of his grandfathers declining health was taking a toll on my boyfriend so we began to weigh our options in getting help for his grandfather. Our number one concern when comparing companies was that we wanted to feel safe and comforted knowing the people taking care of his grandfather were honest, caring & trustworthy people who would not take advantage of his vulnerability. There are so many scams targeted towards the elderly nowadays that this was a great concern for us. After some research, it was clear that Home Instead was the only company that was going to meet our requirements and standards. Although “Grandpa Lou” was hesitant to have (as he would say) a “babysitter”, he now considers all his care givers to be his best friends and he looks forward to spending time with them. Having piece of mind that Grandpa Lou is in excellent hands has allowed my boyfriend and I to regain our time as a couple. It has allowed us to plan for our future together and we are so greatful for this.

We're currently using Home Instead Senior Care, and so far we're pleased with them. It's expensive, but my mother needed help taking care of my father. They help in light house work, as well as get my father to bed every night. We went through many caregivers in the beginning, but my parents are happy with the ones they have now. They have 2 different people coming each week. They're both very caring, outgoing women, and they both blended well with my father which is beneficial, to make him laugh, and to help him get things done. That helps a lot, and so far we've been very happy with them.

Home Instead provides friendly, talkative caregivers that keep mom motivated and interactive. They engage her in conversation, work puzzles with her and help her stay mobile.

We only used Home Instead for two weeks, and the caregivers were very good, but my wife did not accept them. They were very courteous, kind, and considerate. I don't have any objections.

This company has been a lifesaver for my family. We wanted my dad to be able to stay home as he wished after mom passed. Half of us kids live in other states and all of us work full time. The staff have been a joy to work with- patient and knowledgable and phoned us if ever an issue or question. I was able to communicate and organize this from my home in Oregon! Dad has lived the life he has wanted in his own home, with kind caregivers from this company. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Sweet, considerate caregivers that spend time talking with and helping mom.

We were so fortunate to choose this company to take care of my Mom. Our caregiver was more than we could have ever asked for, had an instant bond with Mom, and became part of our family almost immediately. When Mom went on hospice unexpectedly, we asked our caregiver to stay on as well, not knowing how to do this alone. She was there through every moment, all the way up to her passing, and even afterward to support our family. She hugged us, cried with us, became our rock. We could not have done it without her and think she's our angel sent from above, the way she was with all of us, mostly Mom. The staff sent flowers, called, did above and beyond what any normal company would do. Everyone I talked to at the office was friendly, hard-working, and out to please us in whatever need we had, from changing scheduled times to advice and education about her deteriorating condition. Ever since, I've thrown their name out to anyone I know who's needing care for their family because five stars just doesn't even begin to cover it, how wonderful they are. Our caregiver still sends us Christmas cards, letters on Mom's birthday & Mother's day, and lets us know she's thinking of us and honoring Mom's memory. Can't say enough!

My mother has Alzheimer's and was very combative about the idea of having someone come into our house to be with her when I needed to be away. The people at Home Instead were very caring and when someone came out for the initial evaluation she did an excellent job of patiently spending time with my mother and allaying her fears. It is nice to have someone I can feel comfortable with in helping me put my mother at ease when I need to be away.
