It is good to know I have someone to drive me places. If something happened to me my caregiver would be able to call the person responsible to come get my dogs.
I have an aide that knows how to drive and has helped me with some technical things.

They help most by being available.
We have recommended them to several people already. We have been with them for a couple of years now and my wife as well. They are responsive to everything we ask and they have stepped out and done whatever is necessary.

The provider has provided engagement for my mom and relief for my dad.
They are very responsive and I know that my parents really like the caregiver they were matched with. They provide a guarantee that if a caregiver is not a good fit they will keep trying until they get it right.

Having the nurses come to my house that are professional, experienced, and pleasant to spend an entire day with has been helpful.
They are proactive and they send excellent nurses who are the best I have ever had.

She has dementia and I think the caregiver that comes out is not too up to date on what care she should be getting.

The kind of person that is here with us has helped me the most.
I would recommend it to some other people, but not all of them. Some people probably need more input from doctors and nurses than what BrightStar does. Others don't need as much as that.

Just knowing that they are there helps me. I live in a totally different state. I know I can depend on them. If there is a problem with someone not being there they will call me.
I like that they take my input when I talk to the supervisor when they schedule us for hourly shifts. I had a problem with someone and made sure that they never came over again.

My nurse is really great and I love her. I would have her work with me anytime and anywhere.
I would only recommend my nurse Clair, not the agency.

Most of the time there wasn't any problems. It was okay. I feel that they didn't have any idea how to look after me.
The company needs to have better connection with the caregivers in the field.

With Covid it was good to get live feedback about the client.
I really like the fact that they were proactive. The nurses called me on a regular basis.

Having someone checking in on my sister on a regular basis helps when I can't be there.
They should lower the price, it is a little expensive.

We now have a flow of caregivers and they know the routine.
We haven't dealt with anybody else so I don't have any other agencies to compare them to, but it seemed like we had a few different people coming in the first few weeks that we had care.

This is a time when it is hard to find caregivers, but they were able to provide service was everything.

I like the person they sent. He is a tremendous human being and knows how to be with the patient. He is just real special. He is always cheerful.

If I did not have them, it would just be me taking care of the client and I wouldn't be able to sleep. Having the caregivers has allowed me to sleep.
They are flexible and compassionate. They were able to accommodate me very quickly.

The caregiver does my wash once a week and that's very helpful because it's really difficult for me since it's down the hall.
They are always on time and I usually get a message if they aren't coming.

It helped with his path to recovery and relieved me from having to do it twenty four seven.

My nurse is willing to come from Jackson to here in the late evening to help me.
I love my nurse. She is a sweet heart. It has shown that they have high quality nurses that are knowledgeable.

She just needed light duty nursing and BrightStar Care is geared towards a longer visit which wasn't tailored to her needs.

My mom hates it and wishes she could do it herself. There are a few times I have to intervene but mostly they take care of everything.
I like the 24/7 service. I can always call someone and they will figure it out.

Without them I wouldn't be able to care for the wound or do things day to day myself.

She does everything that I need. She comes in here cheerful. She is friendly and she gets right busy.
I think they are doing fine. It has really helped me. I had a fracture in my back and I cannot do anything.

We really needed a break and it gave us that break.
I know one night we did have a problem because there was a mix up. The person got the time wrong and did not show up.

She was a hospice patient so it did not improve the quality of her life. They were only there to give her food if she wanted it or help get her to the bathroom.
The pricing was very expensive. We were paying for a nurse that we never needed.

It is hard for the family that lives out of town because we are wanting someone there. It allows us to have someone there when we can't be.
We like the gal that comes in very much. My dad gets along with her very well.

Any problems with the agency were with my loved one. When he had a caregiver he liked, it worked, and vice versa with who he didn't like. He wasn't receptive, and it wasn't their fault.
I don't have enough depth of information. It was such a short period of time for me to recommend them.

She needs somebody to stay with her when we have to call them. It is nice having someone in the house. They can let us know what is going on.
The continuity of caregivers could improve. We have to explain everything when a new one comes out. Our situation is a little different, though, because they only come once every couple of months.

They were helpful, but I didn't need all the help they were providing. I had them preparing meals. I couldn't take baths, so they would pour some water and have a soap solution in there for me.
There is high turnover. They had a lot of people coming in and out. The hours they come aren't always the same.

The agency is how she was able to stay home.
I've recommended people to BrightStar Care. The people and availability have impressed me. One day, someone showed up to my grandma's house when she wasn't there and they called me. They let me know that she had gone to her doctor, and I wouldn't have known without them. That's just a new level of personal care.

They delivered what they said they could do. They were also able to teach my mom some techniques.
I was stunned at the response time. We hit a crisis moment, and they were just there the same day and were able to provide care for us.

We are glad that we have them, but there is a frustration with things not being followed.
They are supposed to have a care plan with detailed instructions, but every time someone new comes, they don't follow the care plan.

My husband and I had to work, and we could not leave my dad alone. It was very important to have them.
The young women we had was attentive, and the administration and staff had good responses when I would call.

Currently, our worker is very compassionate and very patient.
I think they need to have reliable staff, not including the one that we currently have because she is fantastic. I am not sure what background checking they do, but they should get to know the people a little bit more and their demeanor prior to hiring them.

They started out good, but at the end, we had to get rid of BrightStar Care because the caregivers were driving him nuts.
They needed to get better people in the house to take care of dad. They just wanted to sit and watch television or play on their phone.

They can have a greater impact by providing employees that are comfortable doing basic care and don't cause problems. They should provide caregivers who will show up when they say they will.
BrightStar doesn't have trained employees. They're taking care of an individual with a disability, and they don't do a very good job of taking care of sick patients.

I would like it changed to four hours a day, four days a week. She gets my breakfast in the morning, but it's only three days a week.
I have been satisfied. I can't increase her job any more than she is doing. I was never explained what they can do or will do.
