It would be a lot better if we could have somebody come every day to cook for him. It would be nice if we could split up that four-hour block.
The caregiver goes two times a week and does everything my dad needs her to do.

It has been up and down with the aides. The first caregiver was pregnant and had difficulties, so we had to change.

There is one caregiver that will take him out and get him out in the community, they have adjusted as his needs have changed.
I like that they have found some people that really fit well with what his needs are and how his needs have changed. Doug takes the time to talk in person and send emails and answer all questions we have.

We've only had a few people. I couldn't get out of the house for one of them, and I wanted to. She just didn't understand the companionship she was supposed to give. I try to get them to have lunch, so I could leave, but she has taken advantage of that time to give my mom a bath, so I couldn't leave. My mom wanted her to have lunch with her.
The quality and claims of service need to match. They're good at selling the vision of the agency being great, but they need to deliver.

Some of the caregivers were able to care for the client, and the family members there. We were all involved and well treated.
For awhile, we were getting different people, and that made things a little bit hard.

He is very comfortable when they come to the house, I didn't have any reservations about them being there. They help him the most by getting him in and out of his wheelchair, getting him food, and getting his medicine.
They are good communicators, the people are reliable, friendly and very caring.

I now have 2 days a week when I don't have to be the client's caregiver. It was a 24/7 job for me, but now I have time off, which keeps me sane and the client safe.
The ladies who take care of the client seem well suited to her.

I lost one care person which I think had to do with Coronavirus and I lost another caregiver so I am down to one home care person now and that leaves me to cover any other days.
They are consistent, they work with compassion and they are dependable.

Right now I am mostly using a wheelchair and sometimes a walker and I have local family that can help so the impact is not very much.
I like that most of them work very efficiently and will do what you ask but in one case it wasn't true.

She wasn't wanting care, and it was very hard for her and the caregiver. She did spark up a small friendship, but then another lady decided to take care of her.
It was hard finding the right connection with the caregivers.

The aides are very professional, compassionate, respectful, well trained, and the company has high standards.

The caregivers come out while I'm at work, and I like that I don't have to worry about my dad. I like that I know who is coming. My dad is much more comfortable with them now.
I've already recommended this agency. There's always a backup caregiver in case someone doesn't show.

I have been with them for quite a while. They do all kinds of things with helping me in the sense that, otherwise I would be housebound.
You can't get any better than Visiting Angels. I have no problem with them, the people are super, and if they have to change the people, someone else comes.

It has been good company for my mother-in-law. She has been able to have control over what they do for her. She is not having to wait until the end of the day for me to do things.
I like that they have been very flexible as far as shifting hours and coverage when a caregiver has an emergency goes.

In the beginning, they came and interviewed me and talked about the service. The person that was going to do the service came, and they introduced me to her, and we talked before we did anything. That made a good impression to start out. They also offered me a different person when she quit, but I was ready to go on my own and didn't want to get another person into my home at that time.
They helped me get from one point to another in my own care. With things that I couldn't do, I would make a list, and we would do them together. In the beginning, she helped me with my bath.

I like the fact that everyone has checked out, which is a concern. Seniors are vulnerable to hand over their possessions, so it's a comforting feeling to know that there have been background checks. The services give a peace of mind knowing that my mother has a break and wheels to get her places.

Visiting Angels is very nice and kind to me. They help me to keep my house clean and make sure that I am okay all the time. The caregivers have really been good to me, they take me to my workout all the time and I just really enjoy them overall. They also just make sure that I do not fall in the winter which is really nice because the winters can get pretty bad sometimes.
