Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I don't have much in the way of services yet, but I'm very pleased with the girl who\ is coming out for me. I get the same girl every time and that's nice because we get to be acquainted. I don't feel that I've had them long enough.
I like that they are available 24/7 and that is good enough for me.

They were very good to deal with and did an excellent job selecting someone for my dad.
We only get one service a week so far. The caregiver comes to help give my dad a shower once a week and she is wonderful.

Whenever I ask them to do something, they do it.
I'd like them to call us after they get a call. They don't call the client all the time.

They help with things like taping up the plastic bags instead of clipping them. They help with feeding him and sweeping. They help with bathing, washing dishes, and washing laundry.
They could make sure that when someone is not going to come or going to be late they get ahold of him to let him know.

My caregiver now is reliable.
The person I have now is the best I have had in all this time. I have had her since November. It was too hard to find people to work. They did not have enough workers.

A lot of the time I have to miss work, I wonder every day if they will show up or not. That is a big stressor for me.
We have had a lot of issues. They are frequently messing up the schedules, making me late for work.

Right now they only provide house keeping services once a week for us. The house keeper has come for about a year now.
I like that they are real quick to answer my questions. I really enjoy the house keeper they send to our house because everything goes smoothly.

They've made my life easier by providing someone for me seven days a week who's willing to work with me if I have a problem. They're really flexible in getting me a caregiver when I need one.
Right now, they're really short staffed because of all of the COVID stuff. When they're fully staffed they're wonderful.

They were told to come on a certain date and time and they would not. One girl came on the wrong time and the wrong day.
They could pay attention to what they are doing. I have had people come and not do the work. It would be half-time.

There are times when they have not been able to find anyone for me.
I had my favorite caregiver here for a lot of the time. When I wanted her for more time, they did not allow that for me. Instead, they sent me 2 others, and I don't want that.

Before they got me an aide, it was very poor, but once I got one, I was very happy. She had to leave before I could finish training her.

The caregiver came out with pajamas and flip flops, and he kept doing it even after the agency told him to stop.
They don't serve this area, and there are no workers in this area.

When I asked for a different caregiver, they sent one out. My caregiver now is a good friend and a good worker.
I like the gal they set me up with. The one I have now is awesome. They come in and vacuum, dust, and change your bedding. I live at home with my parents, and they do the dishes for us.

I like the caregiver that I have. Most of them have been great and on the ball. They do what is supposed to be done and they are always here.

Many of the caregivers stole from him or didn't show up. One caregiver was great. I would never recommend Right at Home.

The majority of the caregivers were alright. They didn't put any extra effort into it.
They need to be honest with the caregivers that they hire. A lot of the caregivers quit because they were driving too far to my house to take care of me.

I would like them to have more caregiver training. I would also like the caregivers to be certified in first aid and CPR.

They could have sent the right people. I was told they were CNAs, but they were just care providers. They would change me, and they were supposed to do other things, but they wouldn't.
They need to get their act together. They would send people who didn't know what to do. I'm bedridden, and they didn't know what to do. They would just talk on the phone.

I spent more time without a caregiver than with one. It was horrible. I never knew if I would be able to keep a doctor's appointment because they were my ride. I can't drive or take public transportation. I'm on oxygen, so I can't get out of the house. My caregiver is my lifeline. That's my food, that's my everything. For them to not show up and not even let me know, there's no excuse.
They could have not lied to me. I had a caregiver that I enjoyed and we worked well together, but I got a call from them saying she wouldn't be back because she requested to work somewhere else. She never requested it, they just told her she was going to be working somewhere else.
