Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I think there are some problems spine surgery and she told me yesterday and she didn't know she was supposed to help me with certain needs.

We are pretty new to them, only for a couple of weeks. We already had some tasks and duties assigned to prior people that they are executing well.
They seem to have very talented caregivers, which is nice.

I liked Heather because she could take a joke. I could give her a hard time and she would give me a hard time back.
I am frustrated because they fired my caregiver and didn't tell me. They don't have a replacement for me.

They will answer all my calls, and they will call me and check on me, and they will not leave any stones unturned when it comes to health care.

The caregivers could have had a greater impact by working the hours that we discussed. Because they wouldn't work it, the other agency cut my hours. My caregiver does what she is supposed to do within reason. The other things she just won't do.
The caregiver I had wasn't willing to work the hours I wanted previously. She only wanted to work 5 days a week for 4 hours. She quit and she didn't give me any notice, so I have been arguing about that.

When it got really bad with Grandma, I requested more hours. Kameshia helped me with dressing her, making meals, and feeding her.
The girls that they sent out are so sweet. My grandma developed a wonderful bond with Kameshia, and so did I. That is what was nice. She could come in and make herself at home. The one time we had a substitute, that lady was great too. They have compassion. They took care of my grandparents as well as I did.

She wasn't mean, and she tried to be helpful. One day, I was giving my husband a bed bath, and she didn't offer to help at all. She knew what I was doing. I came upstairs, and she was sitting in a chair, and I gave her a real dirty look because I thought that would motivate her. She just sat there and looked at me.
I would not recommend them because I thought this girl needed some training that she hadn't received. I am referring to that she was here to help. Both my husband and I are up in years. I have bone cancer, so I am tired all the time and lay down a lot. She knew she was here to help, but it was her attitude that was very bad. I sat down and tried to talk to her and told her I didn't like what was happening. I didn't want to report her.

They were good about making sure that someone was available, but it took them a little while to actually get us started. That could have been due to the pandemic and the disorder of the world. I think they were making sure the precautions were followed.
The agency was pretty much usually here every day and was prompt. There were a couple of small glitches where the caregiver relayed information but it didn't get followed through with to us.

It helps me out as well as helping Maria out. I take care of Maria on the weekends so I don't have much time on my own. Even when maria is napping, someone is there with her. Having someone with Maria gives me the flexibility to go out and run errands.
I like their dependability, expertise, and professionalism. They are also very friendly.

She doesn't do too much physical help and I can't do a lot of the physical things around the house. She will help me shampoo my hair and things like that.
If someone is sent out and they don't satisfy us then I will call and they will help. It's frustrating when they don't satisfy us.

She takes me to the hospital and gets my tests done. She sometimes goes shopping with me.
I talk to the lady that is the manager there, she made a home visit and I was very satisfied with her. The manager was very concerned about what I needed and she did send me a very good worker and I am happy with her.

The person that comes here is always on time. They do laundry, help him get dressed, and help him with his breakfast. I have had 2 heart attacks and my husband is difficult so they are very helpful.

She's on memory loss so you never know what you're going to get with each day. It gives me a little time to myself and time to go to the store.
They only get 8 hours of instructions before they get put out on the job.

The particular caregiver who comes to see the client every week gets along very well with the client. She can usually get the client to do the things she needs to do, like eat.
The day I really needed to have somebody out to help, the schedule changed right before they were supposed to come.

She takes me to my appointments and that's the biggest help. She also does the grocery shopping.
Sometimes my children comes for a whole week, and they can work around my schedule. They seem to be very willing to help answer any questions. They aren't annoyed if you have a lot of questions. They don't get annoyed if I want to change the schedule.

I called a number of in-home care but they would not come to our area. Right at Home did. The price was reasonable and they offered the services that I wanted. The care and service has been great. I have no problems with them. Billing is easy and everything has been fine so far. The caregiver is a very nice lady. She does what we need her to do. They had been great.

During the time my mother was provided care, we experienced good quality help and attention. The care givers were especially helpful during the bag winder we had. My mom died at the home in Feburary and that was what I had hoped would be possible because she never left home except weeks prior to the hospital.

The young lady who comes to my house on Saturday and Sunday is very good. She does a good job preparing my laundry, washing the dishes, making my bed, sweeping the kitchen floor, cleans the bathroom sink, and takes the garbage out.

We had a private nurse from Right at Home. She's one of the best girls. She's on time and she is always making sure her patient was taking her medicine. She's also a good companion. I would recommend this provider to others. She's very funny and has a lot of sense of humor.
