My loved one has multiple health issues and the caregiver coming gives me a break.
We live in a small area and I like that they know us and we know them, so we have that support, which is very helpful.

My driver was a wonderful person with a great ability to give me the support I needed through that time. I have nothing but great things to say about my driver. The organization was lousy.
They provided me with a driver who was absolutely amazing, and he provided me with a lot of support, which I needed at the time. They took him away, said that I did not need him, and wanted me to take some women. When I spoke to the woman who did it, she was very unkind.

I feel like I have got some life back with them being here. Just having someone here makes me feel safe, and I don't have to worry while I am gone.

FirstLight Home Care of Southern Maine helps my mother-in-law with in-home care two days a week. During the week they give respite care and they've done fine. They get the job done and we've never had a problem with the two ladies who come in. They're always there and on time.

We are using First Light Home Care for both of my parents. I am a social worker, and I like their responsiveness. They are very attentive and very professional. They have been very good. The caregiver is a very kind and flexible person. They both like her, and we are actually increasing her time with us. They are very reliable. She comes over there in a lot of snow, and the person who was supposed to shovel did not come, so she takes care of the snow. They are very nice to deal with.

What a wonderful company! During our initial assessment Peter, the owner of the company, discovered my mother's toilet was running and he tried to fix it. He was patient and kind.
We now have a wonderful caregiver, Jesse, who is keeping my mother safe and happy. My mother said, "it's so fun to go out and have someone to talk to!" Jesse is a godsend! My mother lives 3000 away so I can finally rest knowing she is in good hands.

I found FirstLight on the internet. I chose them because it's near my father's house. The staff was very good. My father's need was really taken care of. They have pleasant people. My father enjoyed them and doesn't have complaints at all. We used them close to 6 months. My father is now in a nursing home.

I found our about First Light Homecare through word of mouth. The ladies they sent were very nice people. I used them for a couple of weeks for my mom for personal care. They were very helpful and did what they're suppose to do. Mom was very happy with them.

They do well at everything they do for me. The one that I have right now is really good. She makes sure I don't fall down. She know's how to take care of me. I've had her since July of last year. She comes in 3 days a week. Peter, the owner is always right on the ball. He calls to find out and check on things.

We did a search in the area for available resources. First Light is priced competitively and they were a good reference from another family member who is using them as well.
The caregivers did well for the most part. There was a trouble with one woman but she was quickly replaced. They are very responsive to our needs.

FirstLight Home Care is very organized. They are extremely caring and always on time. The aides are just excellent. They cared a lot. They were extremely clean and very wonderful with my dad.

FirstLight Home Care is wonderful! They try to be so accommodating. They are wonderful in handling schedules. They've been really very good and the caregivers have been great. They are always on time. They look nice and neat. We like them a lot. They help my husband get up and do exercise like walking. They also assist him with personal grooming.

Our experience with FirstLight Home Care has been very good. They're very helpful to my son. The caregivers are very cheerful. They really boost my son to give him a positive outlook. We have them for over a year. My son is very happy and comfortable with them around.

I can't say enough about First Light and the people that they provided. Their care was phenomenal. It was wonderful. They gave very caring and very knowledgeable assistants at the time when we thoroughly needed it. We had them for a little over a year.
The caregiver really cared. She did absolutely everything I asked her and more. My mom was in the end stage of Alzheimers. She did pretty much everything for her.
The management was always receptive and always there. There was always somebody to talk to us whenever we have questions. They could work the schedule around for me. They documented everything for me because we had to make sure that every single penny is documented. It was just an overall success.

FirstLight Home Care is excellent. They did everything they said they would do. My wife seem to be pleased and I am very pleased with them. Every time they said they would do they were on time, they were here, and I'm very pleased with them. They're excellent people. I'd recommend them any moment.
