About This Community
Griswold Home Care was founded by the late Jean Griswold in 1982, making us the oldest non-
medical home care franchise organization in the country. While we operate in a growing
industry with many respected competitors, we are unique. We call the characteristics that
make us unique our “Griswoldness”.
Griswold is not only one of the first companies in the United States to offer in-home care to
seniors and other adults with disabilities, illnesses, or injuries; we are the gold standard when it
comes to delivering what care should be. Our commitment to referring the best possible non-
medical home care professionals available has resulted in helping over 80,000 families just like
yours. Our affordable, professional caregivers help every client maintain the dignity, comfort,
safety, independence, and happiness they deserve, regardless of where they call home.
Griswold Home Care now operates in more than 200 locations across 30 states, touching more
than 100,000 families. Each Griswold Home Care office is locally owned and operated by
leaders in your community who are passionate about making in-home care simple, accessible,
and affordable.
Our company was built upon the timeless values of compassion and care. These ideals are still
at the heart of all we do. They are the living legacy of a remarkable woman who set out not to
create a business, but to help neighbors in need. Jean Griswold’s idea was so powerful that it
evolved and grew to become a nationwide organization that now serves tens of thousands of
people every day.
Griswold Home Care is one of the country’s top home care companies, delivering
compassionate care 24/7 to its clients. Its purpose is to give people the help they need to live in
the place they love. Through this purpose, we help adults maintain quality of life despite
advanced age or onset of illness through services including companion care, home services,
personal care, and respite care.
By working with Griswold Home Care, you'll gain access to the best caregivers in the world. Our

About SCSA
The Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) is a national organization that educates
professionals to work more effectively with their senior clients. Founded in 1997, SCSA teaches
an integrated approach to the health, financial, and social aspects of aging. Professionals who
obtain the designation as Certified Senior Advisors (CSA's) are able to integrate this knowledge
into their professional practices. They've learned how incredibly gratifying it is to help seniors
achieve their goals, and the seniors they've worked with have learned how important it is to
work with someone who truly understands their age-related circumstances.

Esther has been my Griswold Home Care caregiver for approximately 9 months. She was an outstanding employee; she bonded with my husband, Edward, immediately (which was no small feat). Esther was extremely professional in every sense of the word. She had the ability to work with little supervision. She made sure I kept our doctor's appointments. She even made sure I took care of me! Her Attention to detail was over and beyond her job description. For instance, she would take inventory of supplies my husband needed that Hospice would not supply and made sure she shopped for them on a weekly basis. Esther would also do all the housekeeping needed to keep my husband safe and clean in his home environment. She is a stickler for cleanliness. I adored her and even to this day she still finds time to stop by and visit us both. i would recommend her to any patient.
I also want to thank you and your office for referring very experienced, professional caregivers who bring great happiness to our family. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to my husband's care.

I would like to recommend Mirza for her skills as a highly professionally skilled caregiver and manager of Griswold Home Care. She has proven to have experience in managing the full scope of the requirements to care for needy individuals. Mirza has provided me assistance with daily care with my mother's specific medical and personal, needs (elderly female with type 1 diabetes, Alzheimer's and high blood pressure).
I see now that this has been one of the most challenging times and experience of my life. Mirza has assisted me every step of the way. Without her I would not have been as successful as I have to provide the required care my mother so desperately needed.
Mirza is an effective communicator, and has an insight that assisted me in seeing and communicating to my mother (with Alzheimer's) the truth about her condition and her situation. She is skilled in building cohesive relationships with clients, patients and workers at all levels. There is a distinct instinct in her that can perceive a person's strengths. She picked up the correct match with my mother's needs and the caregiver assigned to her.
Mirza is always willing to provide assistance and has excellent rapport with many constituents related to her field including other health care organizations and medical organizations. I highly recommend Mirza for any potential client that truly cares about their loved ones and wishes them to be cared for by someone who truly does her best for the people you love most.
