CarePlus is a licensed private duty home care agency providing hands on nursing care and related home care activities to adults and seniors in Montgomery County, MD since 1995. We are licensed, bonded and insured, accept long term care insurance and most payment methods. Call us first for a needs assessments. Each client's needs are unique and we can help identify the most appropriate service, even if it's not ours.

They would help if I needed anything done and I didn't have to ask them or if I did ask them, they had no issue doing whatever I wanted.

Financially, it was expensive. In the beginning, it made my life easier because I didn't want to leave him alone, but after a while it didn't.
If anyone asked me, I'd say that it was good. Everyone is looking for different things, I don't usually recommend places like that. I was so grateful to have somebody.

They show up. It is not easy for me to get around and the caregiver makes coffee in the morning and makes meals.
They provide what I need. The caregiver I have has been wonderful.

It allowed us to continue to function. At that time she pretty much needed someone there all the time. It allowed me to be able to go to work and take care of my own family.
We've used you in the past and qwere very happy with the worker we had this time.

They try to do anything to make his life easier. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, so he is kind of confused all the time. I don't think they could do anything to make his life easier.
They are accommodating. They try to meet all of our requests.

I would've liked the agency to communicate with both of us more. The agency also wasn't able to manage their caregivers' time well.
The agency was not respecting the schedule I had put in place for my mother.

I don't have to worry about my mom all the time. She is at fall risk and they provide her with 12 hours of services. They are gentle with her, they keep her company, walk with her, get her dressed in the morning.
They are on top of things, even with the staff issues they find for us consistent people.

They set up a group chat with myself and my brothers so when they have issues or show us something, they let us know. They keep us up to date. They let us know when they are running out of items. That way we can get those things. Good communication.
I like the service because they have offices right near the senior apartments. They are well qualified, empathetic, and caring. We are pretty pleased with the med techs. They take their job seriously.

They took care of my husband when he was in hospice. Hospice was not there 24/7, but CarePlus was. When he was sleeping, if he needed something, they would come and get me.
We had five different caregivers, and they were all very kind. We really appreciated all that they did.

I had to go to another agency to get the care that was needed. They couldn't help me.
They need to get better with the scheduling when they're scheduling client caregiver interviews. They need better communication.

I liked the first girl they sent to take care of me. I didn't really like the second girl they sent. I always felt kind of strange around her.

She appreciates the companionship. She's a little bit quiet and is suffering from a lot of loneliness, so having someone who understands is extremely helpful. Frida really gets it and understands what she needs to do for my mother.
It's just the people that are sent and the consistency.

When we started he wasn't eating, drinking, or speaking. The aide was able to get him be healthy. He is now able to communicate and eat properly. They helped him heal.
This agency is responsible. They hire competent aides. I felt secure with the care they gave. I am thankful for this agency and all they did for us.
