I don't know what we would do without RIght at Home. They have been wonderful from the very beginning of my elderly dad moving in with us. The caregivers are compassionate, smart, professional, knowledgeable, polite, respectful, reliable - AMAZING. The home office staff (nurse, scheduler, invoicer) are all wonderful. Everyone is great with timely communication and updates. SOOOOO very grateful for the people of this remarkable company!!

The Right at Home providers have been very easy and reliable to work with. They go above and beyond the daily physical chores/care and relate to the client and family on a personal level. They have been willing to drive my husband out and about as well as engage in activities that stimulate his mind. The administrative staff are very responsive and genuinely willing to work with me on any requests or concerns.

Although my husband has only been home for a few weeks, the caregivers and schedulers have been wonderful. Even though I had know idea the time frame in which I needed help, they have been very flexible in working with me to get the best coverage for him.

I have been using Right at Home for my wife for a month now. It's fantastic. They've been wonderful. The girls' names are Anita and Theresa, and they've both been absolutely wonderful. They've really helped me out. I'm going through a bad time right now. I've got some physical problems, and I've got doctor's appointments. I can't leave my wife alone at home, so I have to wait until Anita or Teresa are here to watch her while I go to my doctor's appointments. They've been very, very good at this. I put my wife to bed around 8:30 to 9:00 at night, and they get her up in the morning and they take her to the toilet. They remove her nightgown and diapers, they get her into shower, they get her all cleaned up and they dry her. This is all something I've been doing for seven years. They brush her teeth, and they brush her hair. They bring her back out into the bedroom, and they get her dressed in day clothing. They make the bed, and they clean up the bathroom with the wet towels and whatnot. If I don't fix the breakfast or lunch for her, they'll fix them for her. I usually do everything at night, set everything up, and that way, all they have to do is just go ahead and make the breakfast because everything else is set up. They'll get my wife fed, and they'll put her in the chair and usually cover her up with a little throw. My wife either falls asleep again or she watches television for a while. They give her some toys to just occupy her hands to fiddle with. They also do the laundry, and they'll take it out of the dryer. I've got clotheslines outside, so they'll either hang the clothes on the clothesline and bring them in, or they just leave them out there and I'll bring them in later in the evening. Usually from 10:00 in a morning until 2:00, that's what they do. They fold clothes, they put them away and they do the dishes that my wife has used for breakfast and lunch. They've really been very, very nice. I'm very satisfied with them. I really think they're really angels because they really help me out. They give me a chance like if I've got to go to the store for groceries. I am very satisfied and very pleased with the service. They're excellent.

Right At Home provides our elderly Aunt who has advancing Dementia with daily care Monday through Friday. They were able to provide her with the same care giver every day, which is extremely helpful when caring for a person with Dementia. As our Aunt is unable to remember anything on a short term basis, consistency is the key. Her provider is kind, patient, communicates with us on a regular basis, understanding and helpful with our Aunt's activities of daily living. She also takes our Aunt to get groceries, have a meal, reminds her to take her meds, sees to it she has a shower 3 times a week & takes her to all her appointments (doctors, hair dresser, nails, etc) and takes her for walks at the local parks so she can get exercise and see other people. The provider has a professional yet "friendly" way of dealing with our Aunts likes and dislikes. She encourages her to drink her boost daily, which we have a great deal of trouble getting her to do. We are extremely happy with the care she gets from her Right At Home provider and would highly recommend them. The staff of RAH are responsive to our requests and listen. They make changes when we ask and follow through with the provider.

I found the owner (Mimi) to be extremely easy to talk to and quite flexible in providing the level of services we required at the time. She was also an excellent communicator and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had when setting up the service. Her prices were also quite reasonable. I would very highly recommend this company since I was very impressed by their efforts to ensure we were satisfied with the services they were providing.

The Right At Home team has been an enormous help to our family throughout from their initial admissions process, ongoing administrative support with insurers, and the compassionate, kind care provided to our family member in their home.

Very friendly and helpful. Reasonable price. They work with you on the days and time that you need them. They show up on time. The office is very helpful in meeting my needs.

This review is about a specific caregiver at Right at Home: Michael- We are so happy with & impressed with Michael from Right at Home! We can’t believe he hasn’t been doing this for many years! He seemed very experienced. He is incredibly hard working & amazing & great with people & we hope we can have him again! He has clearly been well educated & also a good person to start with. Right at Home staff is personable and easy to work with at every level - Nursing, Care Coordination, and excellent caregivers. Worked with many agencies - they stand above.

I have used this agency to provide care for my mother for more than 2 years. We initially started with an aide assisting my mother for a few hours a day, but as her situation deteriorated we have moved to a full time live in. All the aides have been fully trained and licensed CNAs, as we requested. My mother made it clear in her health care plans that she would never want to go to a nursing home, and because of the care she is receiving, her wishes are being honored. Everything is taken care of, everything. My mother's caregiver now communicates with us frequently. Not long ago she immediately noticed a sudden change in my mother's mental status and called to let me know that she was arranging transport to the hospital. Her alertness saved my mother's life. We also have access to their nurses on staff when necessary, and we have really taken advantage of that service as well. Everyone at the agency is responsive to our inquiries and requests, from office staff, to community coordinator, to nurses, and to my mother's live in CNA who I believe has become my mother's best friend. Hearing what sometimes goes on in this business, we consider ourselves very lucky.

The agency has been very helpful for me and my mom when she arrived home from the nursing facility. Her live-in caregiver has a good relationship with my Mom and our family.

Right at Home provided support at a very challenging time when my mom arrived home after two months in rehab during covid. We had no real sense of her condition - and it was worse than we expected. The Right at Home team and Elizabeth, who worked with us for 9 months, were amazing and provided us the support and peace of mind as my mom recovered. Elizabeth provided live in service and I am convinced my mom's progress was due to the attentive care she received. Right at Home provided coverage anytime Elizabeth needed time off.

Michelle our caregiver is amazing! She is a part of our family. She is caring, kind, loving. She treats my father in law like he is her family. She also has compassion for our entire family. She has an amazing relationship with each of us. We are beyond blessed! She has been with my father in law Many years and we are happy she will see his journey through.

We used RAH for both my parents in Maryland and Virginia. Lew and Mimi M. are fantastic and knowledgeable and their service provided us with peace of mind while my parents lived independently but were starting to decline. I can’t thank them enough for connecting me to the right resources to help my family apply for the VA Aide and Assistance to help defray the cost of care. I highly recommend their services.

Everyone was honest, caring, and wonderful. Mark, the regional representative was remarkable at making my father feel comfortable with gaining this service which is a difficult task when one wants to keep their independence. Gloria was a master at scheduling with our quickly progressing need changes and very responsive to emails and calls. All my father caretakers were kind and caring........Lyn (caretaker) was unbelievable his last day of life.... his angel. I will be grateful for Lyn forever.
