I guess that would be considered laundry though. They have changed her bed when it's been soiled when they get there. They have helped her get dressed after showering. She has trouble with putting her socks and shoes on. We chose them because they have an office close to where my mom lives, so they were close for us if we needed contact. They provide the personal care, but they also can go into medical care if needed. That was something we looked at in case things got worse and she needed other kinds of help, like they would be able to do medications and things like that if that ever happens. Another reason we chose them is that the director or the president actually has a really good medical background. She does background checks and certifies all her employees with the CPR and whatever other medical assistant credentials they need. They do it yearly. They don't just do it at the beginning of hiring, so we like that. The caregiver is friendly, but she's not overbearing, and she seems quite adapted with everything she does. The way she speaks with my mother, my mother's difficult to get along with, and I know she tested her the first couple of days and now they've actually become friends. She looks forward to her coming. She wasn't one to trust anybody coming into our house and this young woman has gained her trust. She is rather young. I thought she would be older. She's just really good with her. She has a good outlook and demeanor and never short with her. She's very patient. Scheduling is fine. They accommodated us exactly how we wanted. The first week, we had a problem with doctors' appointments and they rearranged their normal schedule to accommodate our appointments. The payment is fine. They bill weekly and I do it online. I don't have to write a check or do anything like that. It's more than I expected, but I don't have anything to compare to say that it's excellent.
