Relationship: I am a current client of this provider Content: Help at Home is a truly professional organization staffed by profession health care personnel who maintain certifications in health care. Unlike other organizations, with complicated telephone answering services and hard to get a hold of representatives who call back hours later. Help at Home when you call, you get the president of the organization Terri . You have an office number and her direct cell-phone number. She always gets back to you and answers question and resolves issue in a timely manner. Terri is a true professional in her business. I have had the same health professionals in my home for over a year, 15 hours a day seven days a week. They have stayed in my home when I was required to travel for a week and long weekends with no issues handling any situation which arose. They have become part of our family. This is not just a job to them it’s a calling. The loving care and attentiveness they gave my wife was remarkable. A shout out goes to those two health aide professionals Clare and Jennifer , who were both with me for over a year they are caring, loving, professional, and honest. There were other health Aide professions who filled in occasionally they also were very caring and professional. Terri staffs her organization with top quality people who she personally analyzes and fits into your needs. If could give more than the maximum rating to Help at home I certainly would.

We're using Help at Home, and I've got the same aide now for a few years. I'm very lucky. He's wonderful. He's great. He helps my wife with dressing a little bit, picking clothes out, and getting them on. Physically, she can do it, but mentally she puts three tops on inside out, so he's helping her in the morning. He comes in for 15 minutes with her and that's it. My needs are basically dressing, bathrooming, and showering, all the personal care issues. I hired him through Help at Home, and they're quite good. When the caregiver's gone, he's really gone. He maybe misses one to two days a year, and they get me someone else. I've had about five different people over the years and they've all been good. I worked in the disability field myself for 35 years, so I have a better background than the average person in this issue. I do my own meds and my wife's meds. I do everything myself. He takes us to the doctors, and we go out and get food for the three of us just about every night. I know what I need quite well, and he meets the needs quite well. After all this time you get to know the person quite well. When I got him he was a private contractor working through the agency, now he's an employee of Help at Home. If anyone's looking for something, I highly recommend them. They do a good job. The person I have here is very good.

My mother has care in her house 24/7 from Help at Home. She has been using them for 5 years now. They have provided aides throughout the years. They are very accommodating. When we felt we needed the care 24/7, they were able to work it out right away. There have not been any gaps. She is happy with it. She does not want to stop the service even though it is the most expensive way to go.
