Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

It is only three days a week, but it does make it easier to know there are eyes on her.
There have been a few caregivers who didn't show up because of schedule confusion. We pay for a 2-hour visit, but they are only there for an hour. I would rather pay for only one hour.

It has helped me and freed me up to do things around the house. If I am taking my time with my father, it leaves me little time to work with my grandson. I can go to the store and out.
They do follow up on the schedule, as far as holidays so that the client gets his hours for the week.

I would be more likely to recommend them if they did not have such a high turnover rate.

The services are very good, they help with his morning routine, being a companion, and taking care of his overall needs.

He is getting regular evaluations and it is helping me with the duties that I have for him.
At the very beginning, there wasn't any consistency on who was coming and the time they were coming, but now it is getting a bit better.

They have last minute cancellations and it is unclear who is coming sometimes.
The biggest thing is the communication with scheduling and availability.

Once they settle on a caregiver they will schedule them regularly, and once we learn each other it makes it a lot smoother.
I really like that they agency has really good people that are on time and they do what they are supposed to be doing. They do have rapid turn over in the company and I have missed an appointment.

They provide the care. The caregiver's concern is with the patient. It provides me with 10 hours a week that I can go to a doctor or the dentist.
I think if someone was suppose to be at your home and you are on a schedule then they should be there on time. I think that it is good to be punctual.

They were able to come every day and were very helpful.
My mom was on hospice, and the hospice decided to take us off, even though she was doing bad, but Right at Home was able to provide more coverage.

I like the people that work there, Caroline is very helpful and always willing to pick up the phone, return a call, and get me someone to help. Also while we were applying for the VCC, they were helpful. She is very helpful.

They do good things for us like helping my husband eat his dinner at night. They also help with his laundry and they get him ready for bed.
Sometimes we don't know who is coming and they seem to pull caregivers out for no reason sometimes. It is difficult for us to have someone new.

They cleaned the house for her. They prepared meals for her. All of those things are necessary for her. Having their services is why she was able to live at home for so long. It made it so I could live a little bit more of my life too.
We appreciate that we were able to have one main caregiver. There was continuity in care, which was very important to her. She knew she could count on her.

I am having more problems, and I'm going to increase my visits to help me out more so I can go out to do grocery shopping and other errands.
I would tell a friend that they are great at coordinating care. They are great at responding to your concerns.

I think it's a great resource for a quick response. If it's a medium to long-term situation, you have to navigate it by the situation.

It was stressful. My brother and I both don't live in this area and I live like two states away. I had to monitor them all the time to make sure they provided what they were supposed provide.
Their employees sleep in here. I had people who left. She didn't know when they weren't there.
