Home Instead in Attleboro just entered it's 12th year taking care of my Grandfather. He is 94 years old. He will be 95 in May. They cared for him in his home, then when he moved into assisted living, and now they care for him in his nursing home. In the nursing home they are taking him out to lunch once a week and being a companion. My grandfather's life has been greatly touched by the love and care provided to him. He always liked to be active and unfortunately, broke his hip. Home Instead has managed to keep him as active and engaged as possible. Our family is so grateful.

Home Instead took care of my dad for years. They are wonderful. Through Covid there were a couple times they could not staff a shift. They were down lots of caregivers due to Covid. I appreciated not having my dad exposed to Covid-19. We always tried to be understanding and they have taken excellent care of my dad. I’m grateful and will always recommend them in the area (Norton).

I signed up with this company originally for 24 hour service for my father. They made many promises but could not deliver on most of them. They sent inexperienced care givers that couldn't even do simple tasks like food preparation. I had overnight caregivers who would sleep on the job. I had caregivers who could not be left alone with my father or caregivers who were very unreliable and would call out often. Despite all my concerns that I repeated addressed with the office all I got was flimsy excuses and they even tried to make me feel like I was the problem. When they charge you over $30 an hour I think I should have certain expectations. When we were fortunate to have a caregiver that was good it did not last as they would pull that caregiver to fill shifts elsewhere. When we protested they told us they would essentially do as they pleased. The needs of my father were no concern to them. When I asked to speak to the owner I was denied. The office apparently likes to keep things secret and does not like to inform the family of any decisions. I cannot say anything positive or redeeming about Home Instead. I would never, ever recommend them to anyone and if I could give them zero stars I certainly would. Any response to this review from them is just for show as they have never addressed any of our concerns in the time we had them.

I can’t begin to express how happy I have been with Home Instead of Attleboro. Unlike other companies these days they do what they promise and everyone that you have interaction with goes above and beyond and truly cares about helping you with all of your needs. They give you the peace of mind that your family member is being given the care you are unable to provide. I have no regrets and will recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

The agency provides care for my bedridden husband. They do a 3-hour shift in the morning and another 3-hour shift in the evening. They are always on time, and very courteous and respectful. When not caring for my husband, they help me with chores which is wonderful. I am more than pleased with them.

As a faraway only child, I want solid boots on the ground local to my parents. My parents need much more extensive care than they are willing to accept: The fact that they (reluctantly) signed on for limited but expandable services from Home Instead, is a testament in my mind to the excellence of the company. Every person at every level is expert in her realm and more. I am humbled by the radiance of the Caregivers. Grateful that Home Instead came into our life at the perfect time.

I want to tell you that your Home Aides are some of the most warm caring and kind people who my elderly in-laws have embraced as friends and have in a big way become almost family. This is not my first experience with an agency. Home Instead (HI) Provides all the services I need . They are very professional and take a personal interest in the care of my wife. I am not a caregiver any more I am a Care Manager. I have a meeting every morning with my aides to review the schedule of care that day. When I come home from work they give me a recap of the day -good day - bad day. the agency has responded to my ever changing schedule and have aloud me to continue to work and lead a normal life. The aides have taken on many of the routine household tasks, Laundry, hygiene, Meal prep. and it has taken a lot of pressure on me. I can now devote more time to my wife.

I have had this provider for my mom for about 6 months now. The caretakers have been very kind and caring toward my mom. I like the communication folder that is left in my mom's apartment, so I can read about what services have been provided. They also update me on her state of mind and demeanor while they are there. In the beginning stages of my mother's dementia, Home Instead proved invaluable--providing housekeeping, companionship, assistance with personal hygiene; helping me by taking Mom for some medical appointments. When a sudden need for every day service came up, the wonderful ladies in scheduling (I called them my angels) were right there to handle my needs. She has a team of caregivers that she is able to relax and be herself with along with the comfort of knowing she is safe and a caring person is always there to assist her. Her caregivers are not only reliable and competent but also very caring and go out of their way to put my mom at ease with the many difficulties of growing older. Dealing with my mother's dementia diagnosis was new territory for her and for me. I had heard 'war stories' from friends and wasn't feeling optimistic about the prospect of getting realiable in-home aides that my mother would feel comfortable with and that we could afford. Home Instead / Attleboro was the first company I contacted and what a stroke of luck that was! From the initial phone call and home visit, to the scheduling of the aides, the awesome aides themselves - everything went smoothly and everyone from Home Instead was kind, professional and very, very responsive. The Home Instead folks consistently went above and beyond in making sure my mother was taken care of. When my mother had a fall, her aide stayed with her until I could get there even though it meant she stayed more than an hour past her scheduled end time. When my mother had another fall and was taken to the hospital, the Client Care Coordinator stayed with her in the emergency room until I got there (a wait of nearly 2 hrs). In both instances, they did this without asking. They could have left her, but they simply would not leave her side until family was able to step in. When coverage needed to be increased, Home Instead was able to get that additional coverage immediately. My mother was happy and comfortable with all of her aides, and there was zero stress and worry for me in knowing that she was being taken good care of. I cannot say enough good things about the incredible group of peopel who work at Home Instead in Attleboro. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them for in-home care for your loved ones.

My parents look forward to the Home Instead caretakers coming every morning and every night. They do many things that are probably a little out of the ordinary, like fill bird feeders and make them a fire, which keeps their quality of life high. I don't know what we would do without them!

i am a client of Home Instead Senior Care. we moved into the area October 30th and, my mother who is a very alert and very particular 100+ year old, had been used to a most wonderful and very special Companion from another service. we were unable to satisfy her needs until we connected with Home Instead Senior Care. they went way above and beyond in order to accommodate and satisfy her needs. she is very very happy and comfortable with her new Companion. all because home instead are very conscientious in placing people who compliment one another.

I contacted Home Instead for help with an elderly, very resistant relative. They came to visit and assessed her needs and met resistance. When the services started, that was the end of the resistance, and our relative now looks forward to the visits. The provider that comes twice a week is absolutely wonderful and this has worked out so much better than anticipated. One person can not care for the elderly alone, and just four hours per week has been a godsend. I highly recommend Home Instead for your loved one!

With very little time available, they Home Instead set up a full schedule of caregivers for my Mom after her rehab stay. Regardless of the weather, they always covered her needs 24/7.
