Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I'm in a wheelchair and there are lots of things I cannot do. They are here to help me do what I can't do.
I like that they make sure that I have the person here. If the person isn't someone that is doing right, they will get me someone else.

I am 71 years old and need help sometimes. My caregiver provides that when she comes. She cleans my apartment and she is very thorough. She sits down and we chat. She runs my errands.
I like that if they're going to be late, they call me and let me know my caregiver is running late. My caregiver calls and lets me know too. I have a certain time every week that she shows up. She does her chores and asks me what needs to be done.

I have a really bad back so I can't bend over but the caregiver wouldn't help me.
My caregiver only took me to the doctor, she never would come in and help me with anything else. When I call them half the time they wouldn't follow through with anything.

My father is not suffering terribly much and is just old and can not get around very well. He is fairly independent in getting around his home by himself.
Right at Home's workers are very helpful in meeting my father's needs and he does not need much assistance beyond getting errands done and house cleaning.

In the past we had issues with getting people to come to the house who would stay and not leave for another job. Finally, they found a woman who is very reliable and does a great job.

It has been a bit unreliable. We have liked some of the people but some are not as reliable. It hasn't done what they said it would do.
The employees don't seem to always work the shifts that they are asked to work.

Physically we're not able to do a lot so they made our lives a lot better by doing those things we can't.

We had ones that were good before getting the ones that were not good. The ones that were good interacted with my husband and they would talk to him. They would go and help get him in the shower and bathe him. They straighten up the house.
They didn't bathe him. I had to go and help bathe him myself.

It is not their fault if the caregivers do not do what they are supposed to do. Sometimes the caregivers do not show up and they do not have anyone to replace them with.

My wife and I had a medical procedure at the same facility on the same day. Due to their policy, we could not provide transportation for ourselves nor use a service like Uber. Austin from Right Home was able to provide courteous, on-time at 6:30 AM service. We will always use them!

The caregiver went above and beyond for my loved one. They made my life easier by being flexible with me. There was a day where he had fallen and they was able to change his schedule to go in early and help him since I couldn't go in because I was at work.
One of the caregivers was able to help my grandfather and responded well with him.
