I'm currently using BrightStar Care Fort Wayne. The caregivers are thorough and wonderful. They're excellent. They provide drop-off to the doctors, laundry, light cleaning, and motivational exercises. I'm really happy with them. I like the idea that the nurse came over with the caretaker and interviewed me. She wanted to know how he's doing and checked everything out. I'm in a lot better shape now than what I was when I got out of the hospital. I'm happy, happy, happy.

They gave me a good caregiver. The caregiver I have is excellent because she does what she's supposed to do and what I ask her to do.

They're pretty consistent about supplying someone to come. They help me with getting my trash out to be picked up and with housework.

Some of the ladies would come and not do a lot. There's only really one that did very well and she did everything that was asked of her. They did everything with him and made sure he was doing okay and had his showers and was well cared for.

My dad should be doing exercises because he had a stroke. They don't have him do them, the communication is horrible, and my parents needs aren't being met. Instead of the home health care being the caregivers on their cell phones all day, they should be doing things and talking with my dad.

I would not recommend BrightStar Care because one time the caregiver was late and I never got the message. The first time they came, they sent an elderly caregiver to lift my loved one and they couldn't, so I helped them. They sent someone else and they couldn't lift my loved one either. So I had to be there, but I had to pay them. BrightStar Care didn't really help me. I had to be there to lift my loved one out of the chair, and then I could leave, but then I had to come back and lift my loved one back into bed.

BrightStar Care is good, all of the caregivers are nice and do everything that I want. They help me with showering. BrightStar Care has made life easier because they are able to change my shower.

There are a couple things BrightStar Care could do. BrightStar Care could inform us about appointments and the times that they change. The other thing is that the same lady comes every time and she struggles to get an IV started and she blames it on my husband even though nobody else struggles. The nurse that comes and can't get an IV started makes it hard on my husband. She has had to try seven or eight times and my husband becomes a pin cushion.

BrightStar Care is efficient in everything they do. BrightStar Care worked out well in taking care of my needs.

My BrightStar Care caregivers were very helpful. If my normal caregiver couldn't be there, BrightStar Care would let me know. I was home by myself during the day. Having BrightStar Care around to help me recover was a great help.
