Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

Without these services, it would be horrible, I have a hard time doing things on my own. The companionship wouldn't be there and it would not be a good world without them. They are great.

I have been with this company for several years. During this time, I have had ok days and some really painful ones. They have stuck by me through it all, including a bad fall outside of the building where I live that resulted in 2 crushed disks in my neck a fractured nose that I am still having treatment for,2nd-degree burns on my right foot, and a fractured right wrist. Those are in addition to my asthma, osteoarthritis, dysphagia, Fibromyalgia, Gerd, Type 2 Diabetes, eczema, thyroid problems, hand tremors, and PTSD. I am one complicated senior. Currently, I have 2 great ladies who help me. Keep up the good work RIght at Home. , we are in this together.

I have some mobility issues and vision problems so they help by being here. One day I was getting stuff out of the Crock pot and burned my fingertips and foot when I dropped the Crock pot. One time I fell and fractured my wrist. My caregiver was vacuuming and called the paramedics and let them in for me.
I have one dependable caregiver at the moment and they work on filling in the gaps.

I don't have transportation and it is because most of my family has passed away. I am not getting it now and was told the caregiver won't have her car very much. They said she doesn't have insurance on her car.
There are a few things that I disagree with. I think they have been lacking with the amount of hours I get with transportation.

I have excellent care from my caregiver. My caregiver is amazing. It is like she is part of the family.
They always make sure that I am always getting taken care of properly. When the ladies come in and leave, they have to answer questions on the phone and they cannot leave anything. They have to finish all the tasks to get through the sign-out process.

They are very helpful. I have gotten lucky to have these two wonderful people.
They drug test them before they come into our home. We have had a few people in here. They have been pleasant and nice to deal with. The nurse has been pleasant. They help us out with our problems if we have any.

My husband receives home health aide and nursing services from Right At Home. They have been outstanding to work with. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We are extremely pleased with the services they provide to my husband. We have also met one of the owners, who is clearly a strong advocate and caring leader for his employees. We would strongly recommend Right at Home to anyone who is looking for quality and dependable care.

I've had some good aides. The two main girls are very compassionate and close to her. They loved her like she is their own mother.
I think they have issues with staffing. I know they have an issue keeping staff.

I have to be on top of the caregiver because I think they have a little autism. The caregiver wants to do things, but I have to watch them to make sure it's done right.
I like that I get them for two hours two times a week.

I have clean clothes to wear, and my dishes are all done. They also pick up so that I don't trip and fall over everything, and that makes it a lot easier for me to get around.

I have been having one aide that does not want to do anything. They need to be told that they have to get up and do the housework. I have told them that I don't want that aide anymore.

It depends on the aide. The aide I have now is doing really well. The other girls I have had are very poor.

When someone comes, they are pretty good, and it's a good help. One has had some issues, and she tells me that she notifies the company that she may be late or has other things. However, they don't let me know.
My biggest problem has been somebody not coming, and I don't know why they aren't.

They helped by getting him in and out of the shower, cleaning him up, and coming once a week to get the medications ready for him. That was so helpful.

They could have not sent out someone with felony theft. They need to get their background checks back before sending someone out.
The owners need to be more involved. The HR women need to interact more with the owners, so that clients can actually talk to the owners.

The helpers have been very good workers and are pleasant. The workers, as well as the office staff are flexible if I need to adjust the schedule. It has reduced the stress of knowing that my household chores are able to be accomplished without me having to expend energy that I don't have.

They weren't able to accommodate hours during the week. They're reliable. It gives me the opportunity to get out, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to. It makes me feel good, knowing my loved one is taken care of while I do things that I need to do.

We have had many different home care agencies in our house and they are the only one that I have enjoyed. The owner is the best. If the caregivers cannot come, the owner or the secretary will come out. They are nice and kind and never have a harsh word to say about anyone. They are the best home agency around and they care about their patients. I could do my own medication, but my doctor would change it sometimes. The doctor gave me a slip for the nurse to follow because I would get sick if I took the medication the way it said on the bottle, but the nurse would only follow the instructions on the bottle.
