About This Community
Right at Home provides in-home caregiving services for thousands of families across the nation. We offer companionship and help with everyday tasks that have become challenging for an aging person. This may include things like meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, hygiene and grooming. We also offer services for those with special care situations caused by numerous medical conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Call us to learn more about the specific services we provide.
Custom Care Plan
From the moment you call, we begin considering the specific needs of your loved one. We ask questions during the initial call or meeting to form a basic needs assessment. After discussing your particular situation, we will prepare an initial Custom Care Plan and then work with you to fine tune that Care Plan based on your loved one's specific needs. Once the plan is agreed upon, your local Right at Home team matches the right caregiver to implement the plan.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
Every Right at Home caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. Once hired, caregivers are trained through Right at Home University to ensure that they're able to deliver the care set out in your loved one's Custom Care Plan. Before providing care, they're bonded and insured.

We have the caregivers come in for my elderly mother who needs help with certain things. They provide a crucial role in that.
I like that they have caregivers and backup caregivers. If someone calls in sick, they can substitute someone in.

Once my mom got used to coming in on a regular basis, she feels comfortable talking to someone besides me. I don't have to worry about her when I go out.

My dad had a couple of caregivers that he enjoyed, sadly they quit. He did have another fill-in that he liked. They helped to cook and clean around his home.
The turnover rate of the help isn't there. We needed more consistency with caregivers. This agency was there for us when we needed them.

I liked that they had mostly good caregivers. Mostly there were helpful. Two caregivers were not a good fit and I had to ask them to leave.

Right at Home has provided nighttime caregiving services (11PM-7AM) at a memory care facility for a family member since December 2019. RAH was able to start services immediately. It has been very easy working with RAH especially Leatha, the scheduler. She welcomes our input on care, replies promptly to emails and perseveres to schedule care givers so all shifts are covered. We are always informed if a shift cannot be covered, but that is very rare. The care givers have been very reliable and professional. More importantly, they chart nightly about the care provided in a logbook and electronically using an online website which our family is able to access. This website also provides us with a calendar showing the schedule of care givers and billing information. This is a great communication tool. Our family is so thankful for the service provided by RAH. We have been very pleased. I would recommend RAH.

I need help in my home while my fractured shoulder heals. The personal care people are friendly, professional, always on time, experienced, and very responsive to my requests. I don't need all they provide but I what I do need they provide and help me regain my independence. I have recommended them to friends.

If they allowed the caregiver to fill the pill box for non prescription medications that would be a big help.
The staff and manager and organization is great, but the caregiver is not the brightest and she is a little spacey.

She's a little stubborn. She has her own rules about what she wants to do. They frequently are very effective in getting her to expand her horizons. It's given her someone to have there for her safety.
I like the young lady that takes care of my friend. I also like that I can call Dave, the person who owns the office, anytime that I want to.

Their impact is very important. My dad is at the end of his life so it is needed when possible. Tonight we were able to take my mom out to dinner and not worry about him. We can't always be there for those meals.

Right at Home sometimes didn't have people show up. They took very good care of my loved one and watched him closely when they came through the night and the day. They took care of him adequately. Right at Home was very helpful, except when they didn't show up. It helped when I could get my rest and sleep before coming again the next day.
