Local residents Jim Guzdziol and Phyllis O'Brien are delighted with the opportunity to provide quality homecare, home nursing and medical staffing solutions to families and businesses in southeast DuPage County. Our home care agency offers compassionate care, peace of mind and exceptional service — any time, any place. A registered nurse will develop a personalized plan of care for each client and make any adjustments along the way.
When you need help with an aging loved one, recovery from surgery, or home medical care, we have the qualified professionals and caregivers on staff to meet your needs on an hourly or 24 hour live-in basis. We serve the towns of Naperville and Oak Brook and the surrounding suburbs.

In my life, they are essential because it gives me time to run errands and to work. For the client, they have been good adjusting to her needs as her health condition deteriorates.
The aids are very well-trained and they are great. BrightStar bends over backwards to give us continuity in our aides. It's nice to get to know them.

My mother has been receiving excellent care from Rochelle for over 2 weeks now. Rochelle has become a reliable, trusted member of our family team. Her skills used in helping my bedbound mother at the end of my mother's life have been outstanding in every way. Rochelle has an exceptional bedside manner as well as top skills in managing my mother in bed with tender loving care. We are so appreciative. Every star available for Rochelle.

The regular caregiver would give him haircuts and shave him.
We had an issue with some staff members. One of the caregivers left him alone in the house and then he locked her out, and the police had to be called.

There were a couple really good people who came and made an impact, and some just came and sat on the couch and made little impact. There was a variability in engagement.
The biggest issue was the inconsistency of who we got as a caregiver. Every day would be a new person we'd have to train from the beginning. Ideally, there would be a more regular person to come.

I would like it if they made sure that everyone has a COVID shot for one thing, and maybe had some ongoing training.
I like that they always have someone available, so if the person I have can't make it they'll fill it in with someone else.

The caregivers need to apply the ointment to my mother earlier in the window of receiving the ointment. They should not wait until later in the window.
They are very responsive. I have been able to call on short notice and they provide the care.

Its more for my mom really because she cannot keep up with everything she needs to do. They have really helped her by helping her with all the daily chores and making him breakfast.
I like that they mostly have very diligent caregivers in the care they provide.

I want them to have better work ethic among all of the caregivers. There has been some weird stuff with certain caregivers. The majority of the caregivers have been great though.

They made my life easier by transporting my mom back and forth from dialysis as well as doing light housekeeping.
They're quite expensive, that's the only thing. They did a really nice job with my mom.

It helps out a lot. We don't have to do the things that come up that can't be avoided. I don't have to leave the things I'm in the middle of, so having that help is a big plus.

When they came out, they did what they could. They were helpful. They could not provided the service that I needed, but it was not their fault. I had no complaints with the services that they provided. They did the laundry.

I am still on a walker but I just ran out of issues. James is taking care of my wife then and I can ask him questions occasionally.
One of the therapists, James, had a wonderful personality, was on time, and was very concerned about me and took good care of me. He did a wonderful job of getting me going again.

Having someone not family in your house is really weird.

It would take me 30 minutes to explain to them the things that needed to be done. It was very stressful for me because I was relying on you to help and had to find replacements.
We needed extra help and they were making lots of mistakes. There was also no consistency.

She was a feisty old lady, and they just continued giving the best care that they could give. I couldn't have been happier with the services.
There were a couple caregivers that were very outstanding. They went above and beyond. Lynette was a very eccentric person with a lot quirks, and they dealt with it wonderfully.

My caregiver was there the last time for my dad, and I don't think I have ever met a kinder, more impressionable man ever. I was very impressed with him, and even more impressed the second time I met him.
From the time that the request was made, it was a very quick turnaround time. I called and said that we needed someone, and they got it the same. I was very impressed that each time I called when we needed someone, they were able to send someone out in for a few hours, which was a great relief.

It takes the worry off of my plate. If there's an issue, or I can't reach my mom but know the nurses are there, I can call. They can get a message to my mom, or they can get a message to me.
