We had Griswold to take care of my mom. I had other providers prior to getting Griswold. I think that they are polite. They are prompt; if I call Don he would get back to me right away. Estella had been with my mother for a long time. She was with my mother previous to Don taking over this area. Estella's great. She takes really good care of my mother. She's dependable and always on time. If she has any concerns she gives me a call right away. I've met Don and he's on top of things. He periodically stop by and checks in. So I'm very pleased with the services.

I chose Griswold initially because of their price. I interviewed some other ones and had them in, still it boiled down to Griswold. It's good having them around. We have a caregiver now and she's excellent. I don't usually give excellent rating but shes very good. My wife has a movement disorder so she helps her around the house. My wife uses a walker and she's always with her when she is in a walker. She also helps her with her shower. My wife does as much as she can by herself and then the caregiver assists her. We have been with Griswold for about three months now. Initially we had a part time caregiver but now we have someone who is living in.

I choose Griswold Home Care because of the personality of the owner of the firm, Don. He was friendly and open about different things. He helped us get some issues settled with the insurance company. We only had the caregiver for about two weeks and we are very pleased with him. My caregiver is a Filipino gentlemen who is very conscientious. He makes my breakfast and lunch. He helps me do my physical therapy exercises. He does all those things and in addition every time I turn around he's doing some cleaning someplace. So were very very pleased with him. We hope that one day once we get the OK from the insurance company and if he's available and he could work full time with us. I was surprised with the amount of things that they do as part of their duties. I wasn't thinking of anything other than patient care but they helped my wife that they take some burden off her. This the main reason we want the healthcare because she needed someone to assist her, or at least assist me and take the pressure off of her.
