Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

Right At Home - Oak Park - exceeded all our expectations. Beginning with daily assistance for my father to 24-hour care that they organized within48 hours They were always responsive, caring, thoughtful and kind. They even told us about and managed VA assistance. The care givers become dear friends to my father and if a care giver did not meet expectations (my father could be challenging - particularly when we had 24-hour care) Right At Home found new care givers. The Right At Home team worked hard for us and the care givers are lovely and caring ladies.

They transfer her to a rollator to bed. They transfer her all the time, for bathroom and meals.
I haven't had any problems with it.

The services are priceless. The caregiver anticipates our needs before we do.
I would recommend the caretaker my wife has. I can't speak for other caretakers. Bob, the head, was a nice man. He laid out expectations very clearly.

Since I am older myself, I need the help. I get tired doing it myself, and this lady has given us a helping hand.
I don't communicate very much with the lady handling the situation, but she makes sure they always come when they need to.

We used Right at Home for their companion and driving services when I brought my elderly mother to Chicago to visit the sites where she grew up in the 1950's. For nine days, a Right at Home staff member picked us up at our hotel, helped my mother get around, and took special care of us. They had music from her childhood playing in the car and made our day excursions so smooth, safe and enjoyable. My mother will never forget this special experience and it is something I couldn't have provided her with without the help of Right at Home.

Right at Home has a good staff that they send and they don't require additional training. They are all well trained. I like that I am able to sleep while using Right at Home, so I can get some rest. I can also go run errands or do whatever I want to do. It is so nice not to have to worry about my mom for awhile.

Right at Home is flexible, and they are willing to work with you. My mother has just come home from hospice and while in the hospital, she was calling for her caregiver from Right at Home. To me, that speaks volumes.

You can trust whoever comes to your home from Right at Home, you will have no complaints, and you can tell them how you are feeling and they will take care of you. The services have helped me the most by taking a load off of my daughter's mind while she is at work. She doesn't have to worry about who is taking care of me, if I am getting my meals on time or not, and if the house is clean.

I would tell someone that Right at Home sends caregivers who will show up when they say they will, and when they cannot show up, they still find someone to replace that person. Right at Home needs to have more adequate caregivers.

We have been using Right at Home for about five weeks now. We have one caregiver since we started, and if I could adopt her, I would. So far, she is so unbelievably excellent. My loved one loves her, and they hug each other. She is just so good, kind, and gentle. We could not have found a better person. I did research on them, and it was one of the only ones that had a 5-star rating. I wasn’t disappointed. The man, who came out and set it up and everything, was excellent. They are responsive every time something happens. It couldn’t be better. I have recommended them to different people.

When I was in need of care for my aunt -- and I didn't have much time -- I decided to try Right at Home, and then they've worked out. The service is great. At first, it was a little shaky, but it was that a young lady, I think, had some personal problems, but then they cleared that up, sent me someone else, and she has been working out great. She is just wonderful. The manager came in after the other lady wasn't working out. She stepped in, came and took care of my aunt, until she got the right person. They are excellent. Josie, the manager, she came and even met with me and my aunt. We sat and talked, and then she walked us to the car. She is extremely nice, very friendly, and caring. Like I said, she stepped in when that young lady wasn't working out, took care of my aunt until she found the right person, and since then, it has been working out. They are wonderful, the billing is accurate, and I don't have any problems or anything. I even met the owner of the company, and he came to the house too, so they were very helpful.

Our experience with Alex was nothing but positive. He was extremely respectful to my father and to the family. He made him feel comfortable, and he tried his best to keep my father engaged. Even though there was a language barrier, we know Alex kept our father happy, and we could not be more appreciative.

The caregivers assigned to us were both very good and gave excellent care. Bob, the manager who coordinated all of our needs, was wonderful. He went above and beyond the scope for us. He made sure that our Chicago trip event without any glitches for my husband, who has a major brain disease. We can't thank them all enough! :)
