Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

She's only been here twice. She has lots of good ideas. They have made my life. It's nice just knowing that someone else is here.

It has been phenomenal. I have so little energy and the caregiver takes out the garbage. That might seem like a little thing but I feel so much lighter.
I think that the caregiver is a very caring individual and she just goes and does stuff, like taking care of my kitty litter and doing the dishes.

They have helped supplying someone I can associate and get along with. I interviewed a lot of companies and Right at Home was top notch. They stay the course, and they take care of complaints. They are located in a perfect spot in Orland Park.
I have recommended them numerous times. I like the service and that the owners come over once in a while. How they communicate is a plus for them.

They were great, and I looked forward to seeing them on Tuesdays. It took work off of me so that I could lay around and rest up.
I liked everything about Right at Home. They came, did their thing, were friendly, asked if I needed a meal, and asked if anything else needed to be done.

They need to make sure that the nurses have completed training and can handle people in a wheelchair. They need to have people who can take over for people who can't.
Right now it's a nursing agency. As long as they keep going and I can get my nursing aides every time I need them every day, then I'll be doing fine. There have been a couple times that it hasn't been fine, but I think it has to do with the fact that they were changing hands.

It was very reassuring to know that somebody was there if I needed it.
It's a wonderful thing for them to help me when I get out of the hospital. The nurse was great and very nice.

The caregivers were very attentive to my father and definitely met all of his needs. The administration was also very helpful in setting up the care. They went above and beyond when trying to assist us and setting up the schedule we needed.

The admin and care providers are professional and personal. My parent's needs were met, and just as important they provided a personal care as if they were part of the family. We will definitely use the service again and highly recommend Right at Home.

I would tell a friend that they should be patient, because it takes time to work out the right combination with the caregiver. Having them care for my family member has allowed me to have time to myself.

My problem was that we went through a few caretakers before finding someone that worked well with my dad. We have a different caregiver on the weekdays than on Saturday. The weekday caretaker is not as good as the Saturday caretaker. The one on Saturday talks to my dad, cleans the house, and takes him out.

Right at Home's caregivers seem to treat my father with respect and are on top of things. The messages that I leave with the office are passed on for the most part. It is difficult for my father to have so many different caregivers. I do realize that it is hard because my father needs 24 hour care. The morning shift is good with meal prep and helping my father, but I don't know if everything is getting done as far as cleaning during the mid-shift. The evening shift marks off that they are running errands and transporting my father, but they don't do this.

From the first very point of contact, every encounter with Right at Home has been excellent. They have been very responsive and helpful. I thought that my dad would resist at-home assistance, but after speaking with on of Right at Home's representatives, he felt at ease and signed up for much-needed help. He and I appreciate the flexibility that Right at Home offers with schedules and the prices are reasonable. My dad has been very happy with the caretaker that has been assigned to him.

I am very pleased and happy with the services I get from Right At Home. My caretaker, Marguerite, goes out of her way to help me. She cleans the bathrooms, goes shopping for me, helps with the laundry and many other things. I don't know what I would do without her!

The company and the people, you have to consider when in need of care you're unable to provide to a loved one. First class organization with genuine people who can get you through challenging times and at the moment you need help the most.

Right At Home caretakers were such good companions and helpers for my mom on a part time basis so that my life could be made a little easier. The staff was willing to work with my schedule and very understanding about the different hours the caretakers were needed. My mom really didn't need constant attention but the ladies helped to oversee what she could do on her own and even helped her with some exercises. Having them here made me feel at ease know she was in good hands when I couldn't be there.

Our caregiver Rachel enabled us to bring our 92-year old mother to our son's wedding without worry or concern. Rachel was caring, respectful and attended to our Mother's every need. Rachel cared for her in several different settings:rehearsal dinner wedding ceremony and overnight at hotel. She became a part of our family. We used this provider during our son's wedding.

As an Octagenerian with limited movement and activity I cannot imagine life without help 24 hours a day. My live-in caregiver anticipates my every day needs: cooking, cleaning, rotating, driving to doctors, etc. They hire competent, courteous helpers.
