Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They help in the house doing anything we ask like light housework such as laundry or putting groceries away, as well as helping us in and out of the car.
The caregivers are fantastic and the people at the office are nice too so I'd recommend them for sure.

My husband has memory loss and when I go out I want him to be happy. It's a break for me when they are here. He may just need reminders on things he is supposed to do, like eating breakfast.
I think they provide people who are very friendly.

On Thursdays, I like to get out for a while so Karen comes out, and we are able to run errands together.
All of the caregivers show up promptly. I prefer to have female caregivers, which Right at Home has been able to provide.

Not everything is on us - we have help.
They always send somebody. You're never left with nobody coming. They vet their people in a lot of ways. We've only had difficulty with three people for years.

When my first caregiver quit unexpectedly, they were right on getting a replacement. They didn't want me to miss any care.

I like that my mother loves her caregivers right now. There was a problem with one of the caregivers but we were able to get them replaced.

I need someone to go so I do not have to make the visit. I do not know if this is a fair ask but it would be wonderful if they had enough staff where I could ask for someone spur of the moment.
I do not know if there is anything outstanding about this agency. Their communication has been good. I do not know if they are outstanding. They show up when they are supposed to.

The only come in once every two weeks to do chores that are rather extensive for us.
There are certain difficulties with businesses like this. I am not sure what the training is but we have had three people and one of them was good but one has not had the home making skills that the others have had. There is a weakness that the companies have to rely on people that they really do not know.

It makes it much easier. He is bedridden, so they give him bed baths, and they offer companionship. They take a lot of the pressure off of me.
If there are any hiccups to our normal schedule they will let me know about the changes, and they will work with me to get the days covered.

The only clean for 2 hours. It is very limited. They only clean the bathroom and the floor. I wish they would clean everything.

They only charge on an hourly basis. I didn't have to commit to so many times a month. That was a very good thing. I like that they put everything out in the open right away. I had questions prepared and I didn't even have to ask any questions because they answered them in the interview. They were very prepared with what they were going to perform.

My mother loved her caregivers. I think she liked them more than her own daughter. They helped my mother not be afraid of being alone.
