SCOPE OF SERVICE
- Personal Care Services: Assistance with the normal activities of daily living, Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Transferring / Positioning, Ambulation (Moving Around), Eating Assistance, Food Preparations, Medication Reminders, etc.
- Homemaker Services: Meal preparation, Laundry services, Light housekeeping, Essential shopping, Homemaker Routine Training, etc.
- Companion Services: Non-medical care, Supervision, Socialization, Recreational Activities
COST OF SERVICES
Primus Home Care charges "hourly flat fee for hourly services" and "daily flat fee for live-in services" without regards to scope of services to be provided to each individual client. Scope of services specified in each client’s Care Plan could be one of the grounds in determining number of service hours in order to allow In-Home Caregiver a sufficient time to complete required services. They are providing around the clock 24 hour care for my mother for the last 2 and a half years. They have never missed a day. They are very diligent in arranging continued services and retraining caregivers to the specifications that my mother has. I am very happy with their services and will continue to use them.

Were very pleased with Primus Home Care. My mother has dementia and Primus provide overnight caregivers for my mother. Im the primary caregiver for my mom. Primus ensures the safety of my mom while Im getting much needed rest during nights. Now I can sleep without worries. Highly recommend their service.

I have had their services for last two years in helping me with cooking, cleaning, bathing, and companionship because I cannot move as well as before. They are always on time and stays extra out of good hearts. After they are done with house chores, they always sit with me to talk or play card games with me. All the caregivers are fun to be around. And the care manager, John, comes once a month to check and accommodate all my requests. I am really glad to have them in my life.

Very reliable company, indeed. My mother has been with Primus for almost two years now after going through a number of private caregivers and agencies. There will always be hiccups in things that humans do. I am mostly interested in how they will handle such unexpected situations. John, the care manager, made sure all the issues were handled promptly, and he was diligent in updating me with the progress. Highly recommended.

My family hired Primus Home Care for my mom. My mom lives alone and has dementia. Primus has been providing 24/7 service with two caregivers. It has been almost a year with no problems. I'm happy that both caregivers have been with mom since the beginning. They're wonderful caregivers. Highly recommend their service!

Primus Home Care's staff wasn't knowledgeable and they don't have enough staff members. When we got in with them, they said they had plenty of people, and then in less than a year in, they ended up cancelling our contract because they didn't have people to take care of my mom. The caretakers just were never trained, so the quality was horrible, and I found myself doing a lot of the training. As soon as they got somebody who started to know what they were doing, they would quit because they didn't like the job. It wasnt what they expected. I had to make my own program for things I wanted done.

Anita from Primus took care of my husband for almost two years, and she came back to take care of me a couple of months ago. She is very good at what she does and fun to talk to. I think I think she is the one who gives me the most sense of comfort and safety, even more than my son at time. I love her.

I have hired 6 agencies for my mom in 3 years. Primus is the only agency that delivered on all their promises. Primus is absolutely the best agency to work with.

It was very stressful a few weeks after my dad's stroke as anyone can imagine. John and Carol, the caregivers, were the real source of assistance in helping managing all that is needed to be done. Working with Primus Home Care was anything but stressful and I very much appreciate that. Truly outstanding experience!

John and his coworkers went well beyond the normal call of duty carrying for my Dad. They provided him with great care and guarded his personal well-being against others who tend to prey on the elderly. I had used another service previously that was not even close to the care and professionalism that Primus provided. I am sure my Dad took them into new realms as far as what is needed for care for some folks. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for home care.

With both my mother and father’s health declining, I needed somebody to take care of them while I and my husband were at work. After shopping around, I have learned that the cost of home care could be quite a financial burden for us. While no other agencies was able to provide us with viable solutions on how to finance my parents’ care, John from Primus Home Care recognized that my father was a war-time veteran and helped us to get VA benefits for both my father and mother. (Yes, spouse of war-time veterans get benefits, too) Now, we receive around $2,500 every month that covers the most of home care expenses. I can’t thank Primus Home Care, especially John, enough for helping us to get VA benefits and providing great caregivers for my parents.

I was taking care of my father for last three years after he was diagnosed with Dementia. About four months ago, I came across an job opportunity that I did not miss but was located in NY. Primus was highly recommended for live-in care by my father's doctor. Primus has proven to be nothing less than what the doctor said about them. For a couple of months after my father's discharge from rehab, we have gone thru 3 different agencies and two private caregivers. We are finally settled in with Primus because of the great support system that Primus has. John is very professional and compassionate, and he is PROMPT to return my call. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was to my difficult father's taste. Our caregiver, Brian, was chosen by John because he share the same military background as my father, which I think was an excellent call. I would definitely recommend Primus to anyone who needs support like my father do.

We haven't had any problems with Primus Home Care. Our experience with them has been very pleasant. The caregiver is punctual and caring. She is a wonderful caregiver for my mom. The management is very responsive and great at what they do. I highly recommend their services.

Living on the East Coast, it was impossible to watch over and care for my aging mom who lives in Chicago. After investigating various home care agencies, I decided to give "Primus Home Care" a call. Mr. Ham was very helpful and understanding to my needs. After interviewing 3 more agencies to make sure, I felt Primus was the right agency to watch over, be a caregiver and a companion to my mom. I am a 65 years old man with serious diabetes. With a couple of amputated toes and declining health, I needed a person to help me around the house and some house chores. I fell that Nina with Primus Home Care is nothing less than a Godsend. With her help, now I eat healthy, take medications on time, stay clean, and live in a clean environment. A caregiver from Primus Home Care takes care of my mom while I am at work. The caregiver makes my mom comfortable and knows exactly what needs to be done. She keeps all care notes for my mom. I am happy that I can focus at my work worry-free because I know that my mom is in good hands.

My dad wasn’t comfortable with female caring for him. I contacted several home care services, but did not have much luck. Primus home care was able to provide male caregiver right away who is easy going yet dedicated. My dad is happy that Nick helps him with other things that female caregivers could not do previously (don’t get me wrong, my dad weighs about 250 lbs. The other female caregiver had hard time helping him get in his wheelchair and etc.) My dad tells me that Nick is a good cook, too. My dad and I are satisfied with help from this home service agency.
