Very disappointed with Home Helpers because there's 0 communication between the company and their clients. I have had to file a grievance with my insurance company and the company because my hours were always changing.

Home Helpers in Pocatello took care of our uncle after his stroke. We were really impressed with the level of care he received. The supervisors in the office were always aware of how he was doing, and would come by periodically to make sure his care plan was still right for him. We had two care givers primarily who were always on time and always had a good attitude. They were great about communicating with the rest of the family about what's going in and they were even able to get their home health side involved to start him with one of their physical therapists. He was also awesome and we could tell that it really helped our uncle's mobility. We have no complaints and would definitely recommend Home Helpers to anyone looking for care for themselves or a loved one.

The aides come in, make the bed, do the dishes, and then they might play games if you want to. But right now, there's a stamina problem with my husband so he gets kind of worn out and he doesn't really do much about right now. We think it might be a little heart problem or something. I called them and the owner came out and visited me and right then we planned a couple of days a week and it's worked out quite well. We have two different helpers. One is more engaged and do a little bit more than the other one. But I guess it depends on the person. It's a little more expensive than he goes out some place, but if he's in his own home, then that's positive.
