About This Community

Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Whether you are looking for a few hours a week or immediate, 24-hour care, we are here to help. Call us today to learn more about the services we can provide you or a loved one.

Custom Care Plan

We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.

Caregiver Training and Care Supervision

When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

We're doing homecare right now for my husband from Right at Home. We chose them because of their structure. They are located close to our home and they seemed uncommonly friendly when I called and asked about their services. Primarily, they walk with him because he no longer has direction. They help me with organizing home care. We've been using them for approximately a month now. We have had the same two caregivers and they're excellent and very personable, organized, neat, and clean. They seem to know their business and they're helping me organize. I have no difficulty at all with scheduling and billing.

We went with Right at Home. They were super friendly and super willing to wait. It took a long time for my aunt to be willing to accept the fact that she needed help. Even when we decided on them there was some hesitation, and they were just really gracious. Every time I called to say, "Oh, we can't make it this week, let's try next week," they just were really compassionate, which was so helpful as we were trying to find care for my aunt. They are running errands with my aunt, they help with meal prep, they help with some housework, and they provide companionship, which is important. They have been very accommodating with scheduling. They check with both me and my aunt, which I appreciate. We haven't gotten our first bill yet, but it seems like it's set up fine. My aunt loves the person who is assisting her, so that's a good thing. She came over the first time with tomatoes and a squash from her garden, so she just won her over right off the bat. She's very sweet, and I love that.

Brigitte from Right at Home comes and gives my mom a shower twice a week. Our overall experience has been good. They charge by the hour ($20 with no minimum), and that's the main reason we chose them. The only drawback is we haven't been able to set up the automatic pay, so I have to pay them every week by the check, but they say it's going to be set up soon. The caregiver calls in through the phone to check in and clocks out by calling on the phone when she's done. We've only used them five times, but Mom gets along well with Brigitte and it's been good except for the inconvenience of having to write a check every week.
