Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

My caregiver arrives on time. She is very knowledgeable on cares, techniques needed with my care. She is very self motivate and can see what needs to done, but asks what I want done. I'm so happy he set this up. She is a god sent. I'm in a wheelchair so help with personnel care is great. She does home chores I'm not able to do. She gives my husband a couple hours for himself. This takes a lot off my mine.

Each time they've sent someone who can't find a key, I've had to drive 25 miles to unlock it for them.
We've had trouble communicating with their office manager. On the positive side, when we have caregivers I can count on, it gives me reassurance that I don't have to go there every day. Some of them have been wonderful. Two I was impressed with.

We don't have to clean the house.

I'm supposed to wear compression socks, and if I can't get anyone to put them on for me, I am not in good health. I haven't had a caregiver for a couple of weeks, and the last one I had wasn't able to do much for me.
I like that they gave me the opportunity to coordinate my own schedule. I don't know if there is anything they can do, but it's getting a caregiver to work for me for a couple of hours, that they need to improve on.
Under the circumstances, they are doing the best they can.

It was always mentioned in the logs that the cleaning was done but that was not the case. When I mentioned it their response that the caregiver was not able to get to it.
The way that they maintain their logs online indicating the work that they're doing needs to be improved. Misleading information was terse and short.

Their care boils down to housekeeping at this point and running any errands that he needs from them.
I like the caretakers they have sent over. Several of them have stayed for quite a while, though of course there were times where I needed a substitute. They are very pleasant to work with.

Basically the gal will sit and visit and will drive her places to where she needs to go.
There needs to be accountability, and they need to be doing the work that we are paying them to do, rather than just having the girl sit and talk with the client.

Office staff are so friendly and accommodating. Rose is so helpful and always comes through for me. She has always assigned super people to help me in my home. Mary, the gal who is helping me now, is exceptional. She needs little direction from me. She just seems to know what needs to be done.

I am pleased with the service, but because it is just my husband and I the house does not need a lot of up keep. I do feel uncomfortable that I don't have enough work for them to do. In the past they did clean for me. They are always willing to do the dusting for me.

Current workers not as good. Had a worker cover up and leave urine soaked sheets on my mom's bed and still made the bed! Fails to put lotion on her legs, now dry and flakey. Fails to bathe her as often as requested. Doesn't do the light housekeeping, such as taking out trash or vacuuming. Fails to even start laundry. Extremely disappointing at the lack of quality caregivers.
