About This Community
At Home Care Assistance, we go the extra mile to ensure aging adults are able to enjoy living in the comfort of their own homes. We truly believe seniors deserve to lead happy and healthy lives despite the mental, physical, and/or emotional challenges they may be living with. Seniors have a great deal to offer, and they should be able to enjoy life while navigating the various challenges of aging. The unique perspectives and wisdom older adults share with the rest of the world should be the focus rather than the difficulties they face when managing everyday activities.

They give me time. I have nothing to dislike about them, so I guess I like everything that they are doing.

It was enjoyable and helpful to have someone come in. I really didn't need that much assistance. She was bright, perceptive, picked up on little details and she followed through on things.

It has been quite helpful. The caregiver does extra things like getting my wife to do proactive activities. They can provide more training for their caregivers. Sometimes it is little things, like when they use our stuff such as the vacuum and not checking to see if it needs emptying. They can also do better at providing someone for dementia patients. They can do better to talk to the homeowner on small details.

They help with some personal needs, help us with our lunches, laundry, housekeeping, errands and just a variety of things I would normally just do myself. They have been very helpful. Everything we asked them to do has been done. We are very pleased.

My wife cannot function 24 hours a day without them, the care over night is allowing my wife to get rest. They are cheaper and help us to have rest at night.

When they started coming in, I was doing all the dinners. They fix her breakfast and meals, and they sit with her and help her eat. I work full time, so I couldn't sit with her to eat her meals. If someone doesn't sit with her and encourage her to eat, she won't eat. I like the women they have working with my mom. She is stellar and works with her therapy and her cognitive exercises. They are flexible with the schedule if there are changes.

They are a good companion for her. At first, there was a bit of turnover, but I don't think they are having that problem now.

We could work together to find activities that they can do with Betty. I wasn't informed that I was going to have a different individual in today.

She does the laundry for me. I think our caregiver gets a little bit careless sometimes, but we really like her and we get along very well.

They could make it easier by not changing the caregivers so much. I like that they are flexible, and they want to know what our needs are.
